💰What Is Fallible?
Fallible is where you can hang out and talk stocks, business, money, finance and whatever else you want. Just don’t be boring. That’s the one rule. Jokes are very welcome.
We publish new videos almost every day on our UA-cam channel. Our videos include stock market analysis, business model dissections, trade examples, psychology tips, and of course, breakdowns of our favourite finance movies and TV shows. I’ll also be hitting you with a lot of jokes because… why not. I hate boring videos.
🌎What Is Macro Ops?
Macro Ops is Fallible's parent company. It's a global macro research and consulting firm I (AK) co-founded with my buddies/business partners Alex and Tyler.
We cater mostly to institutional clients such as hedge funds, pension funds, family offices, and sovereign wealth funds. And of course we have individual traders and investors in there too.
Most of these guys are managing big money - millions to even billions of dollars. So our research tends to get pretty advanced to help them out.
💰Our Team:
💸Alex is our head researcher/absolute badass at Macro Ops. He’s a former Spec Ops sniper with a background in military intelligence and a whole bunch of other cool secret agent stuff (at least that’s how I think of it). He also happens to be a hardcore investor and macro expert. You can see how we came up with the name Macro - Ops right?
💸Tyler is our options and quant expert. He’s a semi-professional poker player too. (Quant and poker kinda go hand in hand.) Before joining us he was at a family office in Austin, with a bunch of wild, rich Texans. I’ll make share he shares those stories with you one day. Billionaires do some funny stuff lol.
💸AK is mostly here for his pretty face. But he’s good with equities too. He previously worked as an analyst at a long/short equity investment firm but now focuses mainly on momentum trading and making jokes on UA-cam. His mom is not proud of him.

Like I said, the stuff we do at Macro Ops is pretty advanced to support our professional clients. So if you’re an advanced trader too, definitely come hang out with us at www.macro-ops.com .🌎

Hey I really appreciate this content. I just looked up the price tag on that and it said $24,000 per year for the terminal and subscription. I had already got on the Bloomberg website and requested a consultation. Hahaha I was like Damn, that’s next level. I live over in College Station and I’m currently studying Finance. Do you have a Finance community over in Austin?

@@named161 got it for free 😀😅🤣😂😃
@@SHAHRUKHKHAN-mi5pz how please show the way for people like me who could not afford it 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I wasn't going to click on this video because a Bloomberg Terminal is obviously out of my price range, but I am so happy that I did click on it. You present information in such a clear manner it was easy to understand. For example, your explanation of what credit swaps are allowed me to continue researching the subject on google. I can't wait to continue watching your other videos. Thank you for this information.
All the candlestick traders in the comments hating on the terminal. Regardless of ui, it’s unparalleled in data and the ability to make trades through chat with legit players.
Actually I am a Reuters Eikon customer soon to be Workspace, why should I pay for Bloomberg when I trade discretionary Long/short equities, I am not a hardcore quant
“Hundreds, if not thousands of functions”
There’s over 44,000 functions, so yeah, it’s impossible for any individual to know what every function is
Don't be too hard on yourself, tell that to the guys who wrote programming languages like C++, or Java, latter of which is known for being extremely verbose and filled to the brim with weird functions in it's standard libraries. It's extremely difficult and might take an intelligent mind a long time to do so, but not impossible.
alright
@@GamerTheTurtle Java is definitely verbose but miles easier than C++ to learn to write efficiently in.
24k a year and it still has ads lmao
its not adds , its news
Why not?
💀💀💀💀
Not UA-cam ads buddy. Bloomberg terminal ads different levels to this
@@DinoTrades😂
Wow, pretty cool, 17 yrs ago, I had a 2hr class in school on bloomberg terminals, by a bloomberg sales person... and you showed more in 10 minutes. Never had the experience of actually using it. Or maybe I am more interested on the topic than I was 17 yrs ago... ;)
To be fair, there is lot more functionality in the terminal today from 17 years ago.. Also markets have added newer type of products/interactions. So things can be different from 17 years ago
If I were rich AF, I'd get it solely for the Rich Boy Yelp and Craigslist.
The Mongstradamous and seeing wealthy people or trending personality's contact info. call up some boys around and hit a nice restaurant with them.
@@sjuvanet that's ridiculous
I found it funny that next to all the Rolex watches and Porsches somebody was selling a 1987 Silverado 😂
Can you check the short interest on GME please 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Good lord that opens a whole other world of trading.
In few weeks, I'm going to work in new company as IT administrator, so I wanted to see what I'm going to support in the near future and this is pretty fascinating system. Thank you for this video, I'm pretty stoked on keeping this bizaro oldschool complex terminal like system running.
Nice! Congrats!
@@Macro-Ops Thanx :D
m also working on similar platform and I have access to BBG
8:20 Those maps are satellite based maps, not from reports. There's both thermal and infrared detecting satellites which monitor fires now
The $24 000 yearly subscription is definitely worth it with all the data you have access to. Data is the new gold.
PS: Not for amateurs
eh i think it's overpriced. they've had a monopoly for years but that's quickly breaking down now that data is almost free
@@Macro-Ops Exactly
AK Fallible - Financial Entertainment have you found a similar alternative?
Totally disagree ishfaaq, used it for years, other than for analysts it ain't worth it, and we all know analysts can't trade their way out of a paper bag
@@paulsf8597 You got it
If you guys are in university, try asking your profs to see if you have access to the BB terminal. I'm majoring in finance and I get access to the bb terminal.
The terminal also eliminates the need for a large team of analysts, right? You condense it into a program where you get real time data straight from the stock exchanges around the world. Up to 325,000 customers use BT.
i may add CLEAN real time data, that's one of, if not the best advantage
its simple how clean some of its stuff is, even for simple and exact data like shr out or the float u need to do a lot of shenanigans, assuming you want to be 100% and not rely on the free websites
Thanks man! I was looking for such videos then notification pops up👍
11:33 Doug DeMuro wants to know your location

what?
@@usynnstradler You don't know Doug Demuro therefore u don't know
LOOOL
Bloomberg multi billion dollar company...still can't afford to hire a single UI/UX designer?
😂😂 Nope. Still looks like garbage
But now it's used as signaling cuz everyone can recognize Bloomberg charts with how ugly they are
For a guy who trade in etoro..the chart(Bloomberg) is making my head hurt...
It looks basically like an ancient DOS-based accounting system. I imagine it looks this way since it was first created.
Everytime they have tried to change the look drastically they get complaints from existing users so its a constant juggling act of appeasing their current customers while staying fresh.
great content, more videos on the topic of Bloomberg terminal would be appreciated :)
Reuters has a cheaper Terminal that costs less and most likely does the same thing and probably has 90% of the function... can we see that one?
We have the Reuters video here: ua-cam.com/video/1eZT1IF_XwM/v-deo.html
We used eikon for a while before moving to Bloomberg.
Having used both the only nice thing about eikon is the excel plug ins. Bloomberg has waaaay better data, especially for debt markets
@ES Bloomberg also makes more money for the user, right?
Hey, thank you I was very curious about that. Keep up the good work
Can you actually do trading within Bloomberg terminal or is it only a news terminal?
I came here for the thumbnail. This is amazing.
Can you make a video about different market data exchange fees ? Covering a few major exchange fees around the world would be great. Also help everyone understand how much Bloomberg and reuters are paying to redistribute that data
"Ron Swanson gets his own Whiskey." Key that!!
Man this is amazing I wish I was able to just browse around on it.

Hi Mr, whats point to use it bloomberg terminal for swintrading middle range timeframe period, couple days or week hold.. ? I see its usefull only for daytraders..
How do you get news for making trades? I'm struggling to find a reliable source that will give me up to the minute news.
WOW... a lot of information
WOAH!! i loved this video and it deserves 1 billion views IMHO, with 10 years viewing experience.
Geographical mapping function is very cool.
10:03 why is that feature necessary ?
Great summary dude, and nice reminder of the good old days :) One thing I would add is that WEIF (world equity index futures) would usually give a better indication of the world equity markets in my opinion
I think that yearly membership fee is gonna cut into your profit margin a bit...
The terminal is usually for institutional traders. They make over 20 grand a day. The terminal gives them the edge. It's like playing your favorite first person shooter game with cheat codes.
I’m a 19 yrs old and got it for free coz of uni 😝
@@arushbhai don't need a bloomberg for the cheat codes. certainly helps if you're a discretionary trader watching a lot of macro indicators or a bond trader.
always wanted to see what one of these looked like. Nice video! What unusual option activity scanners does it use?
"Quirks and Features" Doug DeMuro TM lol
Thank you for posting this video. I have been debating on taking the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification.
Super sick tool! Im exited to use this next year in my studies
Bloomberg terminal is my dream ultimate weapon! 🤣
thanks for sharing
My friend: I am a intra day trader, what platform would you recommend? I am interested in seeing time and sales and level 2 with news. Thank you
Thanks man, that's all very interesting!
This is so well explained! I am such a newbie !
Do you have any videos on ESG?
This gives a huge advantage to traders who can afford it
Facts! Pretty neat!
Is that supply chain data available anywhere else?
If you press the control + S buttons, it will zoom in on the captain of the oil tanker when he is on the toilet taking a dump.
Awesome video man
Good information. Thank you for making this video.
I'm so glad that I didn't neglect this video 😂👍
Cool stuff dude.
sir how good is bloomberg terminal for trading purpose in indian stock and commodity market?
Hi, thanks for the video it's very helpful. I have a question: Shery Ahn always calls it the "GTV chart". What does that mean?
I loved the splc analysis
Do you know where can I get something similar but a lower cost?
Thanks
so, this is Instagram for the elite? lol
Thanks for the walkthrough. Can you also post something on futures and options?
What's with that archaic layout though? is there a modern version of it?
Very cool, thanks for the info Tyler.
Thanks for the Bloomberg Terminal tour, if you find more cool features please show us
Thanks, man very informative.
Thanks for the vid, BTW.
Excelent video! New sub☺️☺️
What a cool video and strange stuff found within that i never knew about!
crudesun oil tanker shipping from corpus christi! my home town where i live! that's pretty cool!!
Can you please check on "CCIV" status of merge on your bloomberg terminal?

Great video man thanks
Awesome video!
Hey is there any function in bbg to show all disrupt events in all commodities contracts ??
How many people called that dude asking about the watch? Lmfao bro you gotta watch out you flashed some rich dudes number 🤣🤣

sorry for the wait haha
I wonder how many calls the guy selling his watch got after this video 🤣 10:21
so wild. thanks for showing.
i will sadly never use it , but this is a perfect program ..
does it have escort listings?
chris what? we couldve used a link because nothing fro chris trading pops up on search.
I focus on equities 100% lol I'd probably play with this all day but I don't think I need it. Buffett doesn't even use it. A bit overwhelming but a cool software. I use TOS and it has a lot of the information on there for free too. I do like that supply chain stuff. Great video dude, you rocked it.
Very useful for professionally, particularly on bond market I find
Nice.. great stuff
Just watch this video and really loved it, we're building a application called stock unlock that is geared at retail traders I would love to get your paint on it I think that it's what people need in this video reminded me of it
thank you for the video
How much are the terminal?
25000 a year
can you pull up covid on the bmap ?
There is a covid map on the terminal, yes.
How did you gain access to the Bloomberg Terminal? Was it funded by you or your company, or a gift etc. It'll be interesting to know. Thanks for the video, the terminal looks super cool.
We have a subscription through our company
Great video
Quirky video thanks
Whats the price for a bloomberg terminal?
it is cool with 90's speed
This is awesome
Not here for the Terminal . Does Tyler has an IG?
😂
@@Macro-Ops Well, does he? Asking for a friend 🙄

There are lots of services on the net where you can check up on vessels. Take a look on vesselfinder.com and marinetraffic.com - on following sites you can see both tankers and bulk vessels.
The most Interesting part was the rich man’s craigslist. They’re no different than poor people.. lol
Musk should create an alternative to this for the common man.
I have access to Bloomberg terminal 👌
Now someone please tell me how to use it for benefit
I wonder what's the price of Bloomberg terminal
About 24000 a year
Can't they make the UI prettier?
Thank you so much i need to know things more about this. Thanks a lot to talk about it.
great vid
Can you copy traders position in bloomberg terminal?
I tried but I cannot find traders position in bloomberg. Can you please let me know which software gives traders position?
Any bargains on rich man's craigslist?
