Hi ji, I have a doubt. Some companies like CDSL, IEX show lot of OPM over it's sales, but when I observe their market cap vs sales, there is huge disparity. Can you tell your opinion why they are collecting huge market cap when their sales are far far less. Thank you.
Basically, these company have high margins due to an asset light business model+monopolistic industry structure. In such industries, it’s better to look at Price to earnings vs Price to sales
@@ishmohit1 Thank you for your quick response. Is it good to invest in such type of company where overall sales is less compared with ROA. or is it better to invest company like Chennai petro where their OPM is less but their sales is 4 times of market cap.
That's a cyclical.. Price to book will help along with idea of peak margins or not
