Interesting how he glossed over how the Ethereum community violated the core concept of the blockchain by REVERSING transactions they didn’t like to “return the funding” to the original holders.
I completely agree that the hacker committed a crime, however, simply reversing the transactions invalidates the entire concept of blockchain - the idea that all transactions are permanent.
I own quite a bit of Ether myself, but this incident still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Having a community be able to vote that my transactions aren’t valid doesn’t seem a lot better than our existing government-controlled fiat currencies.
Hence why Bitcoin is the only truly decentralised offering out there. No CEOs, no corporate offices, no huge pre-mine, fixed supply.
Lol, so many salty no coiners in the comments. Just because Kitco covers crypto too, doesn't mean you have to have a hissy fit. Crypto is a huge growth sector, like or not. Metals are great too, no need to pick a side. Just enjoy both.

Dave the man answered one of your questions and it went far over your head. You should have just let him talk.
Yes. Yes… I been in the United States to long lol David met with the interview. I would manage understanding, I’m like “Yes sir Mr Ruben. I hear you and understand” in my Australian voice lol. David great interview. I would like to hear him without the interview platform. But David did a great job. Learn I lot David and Ruben.
Great info.
i do not trust any cryptocurrency which does not offer a paper/pdf wallet option to hodl.
Brother… yeah
Fascinating.
If one has to go through all of this just to have some money I see why 80% of the world isn't rich🤦
this isnt about money, this is about wealth.... the ngrave costs 400 euros - aka close to $430
Why would I want to give key info to this guys company to make it lol
BUY ONLY ETHERUM AND BITCOIN AND HODL!
Does ngrave is going to be around in the next 20 years?
That’s why you need BC vault !
You use a global password
A global pin
And a different password and pin to every single wallet .
Wait a minute!!!! I thought crypto had perfect security!!!! I don't understand this!!!!
Bitcoin.
Bitcoin at scale is the fix. No 2nd layer interface no complex btc core or eth forks and mass micro transactions / wallets. No economic incentive and too transparent for hackers
@@ctcsys All that has to happen is for an entity like a national intelligence service to create public doubt that the system is secure, and it all turns to vapour. They don't have to actually corrupt it, just make ppl THINK it's been corrupted, and the run on BC will be epic.
Its called responsibility.
David, you won't allow the man to finish answering a question.
Be Klever and use the most secure wallet in crypto, Klever wallet. Buy crypto, swap and hold dozens of crypto, NFT’s, NFT marketplace, and much more.
there are many cold wallets that can be hacked , even air gapped cold wallets use android/apple apps common 😮💨 but indeed NGRAVE is #1 🙂 i wish i could buy one in USA
Really? Lol.
Trezor is better.
@@cocotico9997 trezor and ledger too risky can be hacked
@@abyerica142 really? They have never been hacked
@@abyerica142 there's more new coldwallets now.
Bc vault never have seen private key , you shake the device and it generate one. Backup in as many micro sd card as you want and just keep your passwords and pin in a safe place you be good to go!!!
Don’t need to spend 500 dollars on a wallet that’s insane
500 dollar wallet insane!!

Just a question again appropriate for today's world: Which hard wallets are the most EMP resistant?
None, but if you build a faraday cage, you should be alright.
And okra should know
F Kitco apologize to John Adams! Controlled opposition
add a passphrase to your seed phrase...its the 25th word , and its in your head. Done.
Coldcard...
click bait
If they're easily hacked then what's the point
Suggestion for Kitco; change your name to Cryptko...
How interesting, Crypto is easily hacked...who knew. So much for security of the Block Chain.
BUY SCRT
Who has this speculative instrument with no intrinsic value?
You can see that it constantly loses when the inflated stock market values crash down.
And the fun is not anonymous at all
On cyber security pls get on Dr Craig S Wright or Kurt Wuckert Jr again. BSV is the best fix logging all the hackers action on it immutable!
The guest is really patient and mature being questioned in that impatient sassy way by this wanna be political reporter that is playing that rude questioning trope.
He has not talked this way to other guests.
Kudos to this guest.
He’s not being rude. Are you Brian dead. He’s asking questions like a laymen. You got serious issues
@@waqidj No, I'm not Brian dead, are you Brian dead?
The 100% guaranteed way not to loose your crypto to hackers is to not own any.
Buy Gold Instead...
🤡
Buy both. Don’t put eggs in 1 basket
Gold is up $100 and bitcoin down $8000 for the year. Seems smart...
@@GrandChessboard do the 10 year chart now
@@richieobrien2329 lol, we are going into a recession and bear markets for a long time. Bitcoin have never seen those before, sorry moon boy...
You know how you prevent your crypto from being hacked ? Don’t buy any in the first place. BTC digital gold is down 5 percent today. don’t be left holding the bag when the music stops. This 5 percent correction is a sign and symptom of what’s to come
Ignorant comment
@Elliott Astbury
FUD comes with every speculation. No one is just picking on crypto. and BTC has been touted as digital gold by proponents. so having that espoused as a mantra for BTC invites derisive and critical analysis….
B your assessment is very proving, most don't see the big picture, civilizations have been giving value to so many different things for so long don't be surprised if the crypto market crashes strongly, it will always be manipulated as every valuable asset is.
