@@sadiiastudies thank you! I am starting out part time just to see how things are. I keep looking at the website haha I’m excited to start. Have you enjoyed it?
@@kingdomkeeper17I started off part-time too, then went full time for a few modules, and now I’m back to part time again for my final one 😂 the flexibility is great! I’ve really enjoyed it, especially the creative writing aspect ☺️
Good luck! First assignments are always the most nerve-racking, but once done you’ll feel so much better! When I first started, there was an option to send a dummy TMA to your tutor, to make sure you’re doing it right. I would suggest checking if that’s available to you too! 🙌🏼 I hope it goes well 💙
@@sadiiastudies thank you! The essay part of the assignment is like what you said, but the question part is 40% of the module grade. Thanks same to you 😊
What are some of the set texts you study Sadia? and for those of us who haven't studied English literature since A level all those hrs back will it be hard to study towards the BA?
@@AminaRashid-jk7tz Hey Amina ☺️ I didn’t start my degree until I was 28, so almost 10yrs since I studied English Lit last! I was super nervous starting out again, but everything is so well explained in first year and you’re eased into the workload and assignments with lots of guidance. I’ve really enjoyed getting back into studying, and depending on which modules you choose, the set texts can vary from Shakespeare, Wordsworth, to Austen and Behn, covering different forms of poetry, plays and novels 💙
