This is the perfect wrap track to this album. The thing I appreciated most about Veteran was it taking all these awkward/off/troll fragments that had no business sounding good and gluing them into some of the hardest, deepest and most complex beats. Turning traditional production and engineering on itself and using that as another layer of composition. But amidst chaos, it would pull into something where everything made sense and sounded perfect...for like 20 seconds and he'd go back to f**king with you and everything. Which the lyrical content complimented very well. But those moments of cohesiveness, screaming at you "I know exactly what I'm doing and I'm the best in the game. Test me" I thought to myself, "He's going to make an entire album that's just these parts one day and that will be an AOTY'. I just didn't expect it next. Jesus Forgive Me starts with a similar feel. He put all the Peggy's into that one. It's everywhere. Similar production style...but nothing there that's intentionally meant to annoy or off put you, only to have you rocking your neck to it 1.5 minutes later. It's clean. But it ends on this. Everything perfect and crisp. The engineering is flawless and so. perfectly. balanced. So many people are going to get laid to this beat and I will contribute to those numbers. This is what an entire albums of those moments sounds like. The album transitions from Veteran to this last song. And he coughed on all them. Reminding us that he is indeed very high and has calmed down. Melon was fair. There's 1 or 2 tracks that felt like they were missing something. They still have their aspects and approaches but stand next to f**king amazing songs. There are tracks on this that people will pound out of their cars for years to come. The 8 was unfair. It's a 9.5+ overall. This is the kind of album that makes people sitting on 10 year old Production degrees to want to just download Ableton and get back into it. It will make people up their game. You promised me disappointment, Peggy and I am not disappointed. So, f**k you. Unsubbed.
Phenomenal album. Had me in tears when I first listened through the whole thing. This is the closest we’ve ever been to knowing who Peggy truly is. Incredibly disappointed. Unsubscribed
I love this album so much. First listen to it had me way more confused than anything I’ve heard because I couldn’t put my finger on what was happening. But I’ve listened to this album a shit ton, and I think I love it so much because it has no structure whatsoever. Its refreshing, and raw, and i love that peggy didn’t edit it to make it sound more accessible. Just put everything out there, and let the people that appreciate his work continue to do so and people that dont fw it can move along. Like listening to this album is the weirdest shit ever, that the only way I can describe it is if you took goodwill grandma clothes and wore them in a scorched post-apocalyptic world. Idk, maybe my adhd that came up with that totally out-of-box analogy, but yeah lol

Alexander Florea I just think people pay way to much attention to other people reactions and opinions, seeing Fantanos name in the comments triggers me immediately, especially because the two have met in person, Fantano is obviously a fan, but what should that matter, music should be a personal experience, it’s hard to hear and enjoy the music for what it is when your weighing in everyone else’s opinions.

Just finished this album fully for the first time and I rate a 9.7/10. JPEGmafia singing on this album is amazing and the production is strange and unworldly. It’s not his best album though compared to LP (Offline), Veteran and I lay down my life for you, but overall it’s an amazing album start to finish 😊.
Can somebody talk with me about this song? I feel like there's so much to be said about it. The instrumental is really sad but Peggy raps about regular Peggy stuff, nothing particularly sad. Then he goes and slaps in a one minute ambient section at the end of the album and honestly it just feels so weird and sad and I just want answers, help.
I too feel a sense of sadness from this song. The cute jingle jangle which sounds like a slot machine at a casino and the way it cuts off for some reason feels gloomy.
