I've been looking at the Sofrin Lt1s. That one looks nice too.

They just had them on sale at AliExpress for $27 with battery, I picked one up for $24 without battery.

Just received the same lantern. I failed to believe it has something to do with Sofirn. I own their LT1 as well and it is a good light. This LT3 ISN'T.
    - There is no 5000mAh inside. My lamp has a single 2200mAh 18650 inside when there is clearly a space for two!
    - It is very bright when 100% charged (measured current from 1A max in 'warm' mode to 1.6A in 'mixed' mode). However, brightness don't last long - it fell to abysmal 'almost died' after 2h and actually died in little more than 3h.
    - No claim made is true. No IPX6, no 6-12 hours of work, no 5000mAh lithium battery. Even claimed weight is off (that is to be expected cause the second 18650 would've added 50g).
    - The turning knob that controls both brightness and color temp is the worst idea ever. There are only 3 clear positions of the control - Off, warm light min, mixed light max. There is no feedback in between, only back-forth fiddling like on antigue analogue short-wave radio.
    - The cable in the box is 'the worst USB-C cable you can get on Aliexpress ever'. It won't charge anything (including the lantern) more than 0.5A, cause its resistance is so high that it makes the charging voltage drop from 5V to 4V for 0.5A current! Despite it has 0.5m length.

Non-replaceable battery is always a dealbreaker for me. I don't want devices that you have to throw away after the battery dies, and it's also a wasteful business model in general.
Is it *really* that much extra work and money to design a 21700 bay in the damn thing? Pass the price onto the consumer. It can't be that much.

Yes non-replaceable batteries are questionable but you can still use it plugged into your charger or battery bank.

Flashlights are one thing, camping lanterns, nah, I’m going to stick with antique Coleman’s.
