Ok so I’m 99% convinced that they used to date and then broke up but stayed best friends, it just makes so much sense that way idk
honestly I've had that thought too and it kinda makes sense. which is why they joke about certain things but are still kind of awkward about it, y'know? and in the reeeeeally old videos I feel like they act different together than the newer videos
I certainly see where you guys are coming from. On the other hand, if they broke up and Dan was looking for a boyfriend, calling his ex publically a soulmate wouldn't do wonders in that regard, lol. Also two exes looking for a forever home together? I just don't see it, but maybe there's some scenario I can't imagine that makes sense. I wouldn't bet my money on either option, I guess they wanted to keep it ambiguous on purpose and I hope people won't overanalyze it to hell as it's really none of our business. I think it's fair to wonder though, hopefully noone crosses the line this time.
