I do the same by doing Advanced Find on Connection Reference table, include the logical name column in Advance Find, open the record and update the display name. No need of creating a canvas app 😉

This is gold! Realized in watching this you can also just pull up in Advanced Find, but that 3 screen app auto build is super slick!

I didn't realize you could directly influence the display name via the record in Dataverse. Very cool.
