USDCAD the interesting thing on this one, is that when it drops and then retraces. is that this is similar to the text book Aussie dollar setup. but the failure on Friday makes it a day 2 red, day1 red is the failed breakout green day 3. Failed green day 3, can become red day 1, which you don't countertrend. on inside. first bounce is the continuation to take the lower stops. this wasn't an easy one, even with hindsight. you could have got busted on the inside day. Looking for continuation.

Day count, if the asia session starts the day, the day starts at 12am or 1am GMT. As day count on EST day start would put the asian session at the end of the day. This is more of a question than a statement.

I dont know why, since i got the playbook. I feel more confident in trading. That section PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER really hit home. Just one question Is there a criteria for saying a breakout has been successful. At what point can we say that. Everything is on a spectrum.
The breakout pulls back in the breakout area Joseph. Gold right now is a great example. Go look at 15 min HOD and LOD, the breakout doesn't fail until the downside, the frontside of the up move is still going.

Hey Stacey. Quick question. My DXY just stop moving on MT4 and i have tried everything and it won't seem to move. Funny thing is, that is the only chart not moving.
Any suggestions on that fix?

Hi guys can someone clarify to me what break of structure inside is? I’m a bit confused about it any help is appreciated!
A BIS inside is a break of structure of a recent low or high but not the break of a HOD or LOD which would be a BIS on the outside. Stacey talks a lot about trading from the outside, which means from the HOD LOD HOW LOW in oppose to trading on the inside meaning trading the moves inside of the HOD and LOD.

The "manufactured volume" comment is kind of funny. A volume by price indicator shows where the bulk of transactions take place; lo and behold that's usually just above/below a neckline or Dline, or three pushes into a high/BIS. Similar to max pain theory, the area where the greatest amount of traders will suffer the greatest amount of losses. In turn, transferring money from the many baby Antelope to the few Cheetahs.
hey stacey which time frame is better to see the pump up after the news?
I use 15 min charts for big picture over the week and news First Bounce on 1 min
Yess I just realize that the 15 mins give a clear picture for the first bounce
Trades for today looking good because they're right above last week high and could come back inside
BTS is going to come at or around 9:55 am. Avoid the volatility of NY open. Never trade before 9:55 am

Does anyone understand why sometimes Stacy labels a random candle or structure in the middle of the day as LOD or HOD even though it isn’t the high or low of that day according to the day separators? I’m so confused.
I’m mostly referring to the EURSD chart on page 55 of the course he put out.
When the US session opens on that day Sean, that is the LOD of the current day. Notice it is a lower low, that is the anchor point for the "pump and dump," it is also back inside of the previous HOD breakout. That is the breakdown, and pump up, into the HOD after the failed breakout, for the short trade in the US session, from the HOD.
@@StaceyBurkeTrading okay! That’s starting to make more sense. So if a low or high is created during a session does that become the stand out High or Low of that day? In other words, if a market auctions higher or lower after the 12 candle window of a session does that not really count as the high or low of the day or does this statement only apply for NY session since it’s the last session before the next day separator. Thanks for the insight! This helps a ton.

Most breakouts fail.....!!!!! I am eying that possible trapped volume above last month's high and last week's high on EURUSD for a possible reversal.
