Dennis' character design is so good. He's acting a little bit maniac but everyone in this game (maybe except the little girl) is weird, even the protagonist just killed the girl. There's not an exactly good or bad person in this game and I like it. Most horror games just throw you some demons, some ghosts or bad antagonists and you run lol.

I love the philosophical debate that can me found in this game, and the way you discover, little by little, all the truth behind the figures of perfects parents who work hard to get a good life for their children, I am really happy that Ryan finds these type of games and let us discover them through his videos. I really hope he continues to find some awesome games like this one in the future.
It’s kind of that two wrongs don’t make a right and yet we can still understand why these characters chose what they did. I love Mike’s reaction after having snapped Paul’s neck where he raises his hands and just stares at them in disbelief of what he did in his moment of anger and hate. You can tell his actions very much destroyed him and yet he managed to come back and be the better between two evils, Paul and Dennis. You can’t really blame any of the victims or the perpetrator for wanting revenge or a cure. A father of course would do anything to save their kid if they knew they had the means to. Meanwhile you have a person who was stripped of everything they essentially had. Their humanity was taken and their life was scarred, unfortunately as we see by the end of the game, permanently. You can’t help but see Dennis’s anger as justified and his acts of revenge somewhat understandable and yet he turned into what he once was held captive by, a monster who at the end wouldn’t see past his scars and instead only wanted pure revenge, going as far as attempting to murder the innocent. Mike of course had lost his only daughter to Paul and while his actions were not right in any sense they are understandable. The convict lady, I can’t remember her name really doesn’t provide much in terms of this debate other than she was in it for the money. Considering she had no problem with following through to the end of her life I would say her morals were very questionable but again were no where near as questionable or broken as Paul’s or later Dennis’s. Safe to say I can also see understand the mother’s guilt as she could’ve stopped it and yet I feel it is unjustified guilt as she had no way of knowing what Paul was capable of nor did she have any clue what he did until the end. Sure she could have suspected but I would say Paul would have followed through with his actions regardless of his wife’s involvement or partial knowledge. I say that since he did not once stop to check if he was alright after being thrown to the ground. She kept whimpering and yet he made no effort to ask if she was alright or comfort her. Again kind of shows how lost he was in his delusions to save his daughter. Paul’s love is commendable, as he never gave up on his daughter, but that love was twisted and ended up shaping the monster he became. The game all in all did fantastic in depicting that and leaves the floor with an open debate on who was right or wrong or in between. Just to think of how that experience and knowledge would mess with a kid if that somehow happened to them.

This is the best horror game in a good while. I liked the small simplicity of the editing, usually your less-edited videos are 30-40 minutes, this was a full hour and 30 minutes. Thanks for keeping up the great videos!
The music and vibes of this game, (at the start) reminds me of Life is Strange (or LiS for short) where everything is fine at first, but then suddenly out of the blue someone has un-human/supernatural abilities, and they somehow end up using to their advantage, but in the end they realized how bad their powers can be, and that's when they end up having to stop that from happening, or let it happen. (Yes I know that not all of the LiS games would be like that, but regardless that's kind how it is for LiS 1, and part of LiS 2 (I think) not sure about the rest but they probably might be like that to). So it's kind of like this game is a LiS horror game, although you don't really make any consequential choices, plus unlike LiS which isn't a horror game, this game is. But with that said, this game still kind of reminds me of LiS.
