That was one single thing about healthcare. Harris can't explain anything. Healthcare is not even on the top of the list that the people are most worried about. That's the economy and immigration. She has no idea. She is just listening to what her aides are telling her. The woman has not one original idea in her empty head. None that the American people would like anyway. That's why she keeps flip flopping.

Pretty much. The media makes $ if this race is a nail bitter. They dont care if it means the possibility of the fall of the nation, as long as they get $ they will keep making sure it's tight. They don't report the news any more. They manufacture it with propaganda that causes people to do what they say. Actually, it is intelligent to respond to changing global events interacting with internal economy. The prices of gas has recently dropped which supposedly is due to increased production of gas. Would that be the only reason? What about increased popularity of electric cars and investing in alternative energy sources, for which Biden/Harris administration should take full credit.

Really? This is silly. She’s articulated a lot of policy. If the reporter were able to be a reporter. But sadly, asking a faux tuff question is the stand in for the work of understanding the context and reality behind the question. As Pete said, you can go on her website.

    • @michaelchangaris1632
      @michaelchangaris1632 3 дні тому

Harris will run out of time to make her economic case if reporters don’t report. Biden continued some economic tariffs but not all by any means.
      A list
Here’s a list of tariffs initiated during the Trump administration that were altered or stopped under the Biden administration:
      1. **Tariffs on Steel and Aluminum (Section 232 Tariffs)**:
      - **Trump's policy**: Imposed tariffs on steel (25%) and aluminum (10%) imports in 2018, citing national security concerns under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962.
      - **Biden's changes**: Negotiated deals to ease these tariffs with allies. For example, in 2021, the U.S. and the European Union reached an agreement to replace the tariffs with a tariff-rate quota system, allowing certain quantities of steel and aluminum to enter the U.S. duty-free.
      2. **Tariffs on European Goods (Airbus-Boeing Dispute)**:
      - **Trump's policy**: Imposed tariffs on a wide range of European products in 2019, including wine, cheese, and olives, as part of a trade dispute over aircraft subsidies between Airbus and Boeing.
      - **Biden's changes**: In June 2021, the Biden administration agreed to suspend these tariffs for five years as part of a settlement with the European Union.
      3. **Tariffs on Chinese Goods (Section 301 Tariffs)**:
      - **Trump's policy**: Imposed tariffs on over $350 billion worth of Chinese imports in phases from 2018 onward, citing unfair trade practices and intellectual property theft.
      - **Biden's changes**: While the Biden administration has kept most of these tariffs in place as part of its broader strategy toward China, it has allowed U.S. companies to apply for exemptions and has conducted a review of the tariffs. Some tariffs have been adjusted based on industry feedback.
      4. **Tariffs on U.K. Goods (Retaliatory Tariffs)**:
      - **Trump's policy**: The U.S. imposed tariffs on certain British goods, including Scotch whisky, as part of the Airbus-Boeing dispute.
      - **Biden's changes**: Similar to the EU deal, the U.S. suspended tariffs on U.K. products in June 2021 for five years as part of resolving the trade conflict.
Though the Biden administration has made adjustments or negotiated changes to some of these tariffs, it has kept others in place, especially those tied to broader strategic goals, like the tariffs on Chinese imports.
