Aw thank you so much!! I would love to do that! I'm actually taking some courses on pattern making to hopefully make that happen. So stay tuned. :) Thanks for watching!
Aw thank you! They’ve been my favorites for years, I’m so glad I finally gave this a try! 😊❤️ I’m definitely considering making the red skirt into a pattern if I can learn how to grade it. I just feel like everyone should have access to it. 🙈❤️❤️ Thank you so much for watching!
Absolutely loved this video! I’ve been wanting to clone a shirt and skirt I have for the longest time and you’ve just shown me how easy it can be and taken so much intimidation out of the project! ❤
I just started sewing and honestly it’s not going too great rn at the start Jajaj but hopefully I can get start being able to wear my own garments! You’re so good, thanks for the video!
I hope you're still working at it and I hope it's getting easier and that you're enjoying the process! I find so much joy creating my own wardrobe, so wishing you all the luck! Thanks so much for watching!
Really enjoyed watching this! I have a skirt in my closet I adore and haven’t been able to find anything similar to it but I’m a totally different size after having a baby so I have been wanting to make it in a bigger size. Loved your try on! So fun.
Yay I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Sizing it up would add a bit of difficulty but would still be totally doable if you make a paper pattern first. I’m so happy I finally made these, so definitely recommend giving it a try! 😊❤️ Thanks for watching!
@@CaitMakes ah good point. If I don’t plan on wearing the item again, would you recommend just fully unpicking it and then laying out to make a pattern from actual pieces? I could make it in a cheap fabric to check sizing?
Yes, if you don’t plan on wearing it again then unpicking it or carefully cutting it like I did with the shorts in this video is the most accurate method. Make sure to give your fabric a good press of course especially if it had any previous gathering or pleats. And yes a cheap muslin version first is always a good idea! 😊
I’ve been wanting to do this for some of my clothes but waiting until I’m post partum! Love the green eyeliner 😍 I absolutely love how they all turned out! My fav is definitely the short/skirt you made last. Also you have the best reveal locations for all of your makes. Is this a public location? And who helps you film because they do a fab job!
Definitely give it a try, I was so surprised by how simple it was! Congratulations also & thank you. 😊 Glad you liked those, I definitely want to make them in more colors now that I know how simple they are to put together. Thank you, the last few videos where I’m in the pretty studios are at The 719 Studio in L.A. I have the link to book them in the description of my videos. They’re owned by one of my best friends and she is also who is behind the camera for those reveal shots. Couldn’t recommend her and her studio more. 😊❤️
@@CaitMakes I will thanks :) Oh you totally should - especially if they are staples that you gravitate towards! Why not? Oh how amazing! What fantastic spaces and so amazing she is able to help you! Pity I am in Australia :P hahaha
I did, thank you! I made it for Valentine's Day this year. :) Here's the video on it just in case you're interested: ua-cam.com/video/BRKiI_VMcEU/v-deo.html

You should make a pattern out of the red skirt to sell. It's such a fun piece! Red was the perfect color to go with that design, too.
