What i like about divine Z is they still have reality-like battle like dress series but also has fantasy-like plot like og series. The comeback of "Clay Planet is Real" is what we old players wait from the beginning of D series.
Wow, this is Wild! Love the story even more. The start was really awesome and the songs of this season are very good. I am only expecting crazier rides in the next episodes.

We finally got the whole team together, so it’ll be interesting seeing how they’ll play off of one another, though it’s pretty obvious Masanori is still gonna troll them, especially poor Mikoto.😅 Happy they’re keeping Suo as a bit of an airhead. The way he lit up when Akina promised to fight him later was just too precious! So now we know the full story of why the Fated Clash took place. Gab was gathering the Fated Ones Design Force to defeat Syblit, who brings a lot of similarities to the Void from the original series, so it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out the Destined Showdown. Also, Gab’s true form looks so badass! Hoping we’ll get to see him in action by the finale. The opening and ending themes were another banger. And with the way they showed off all of the Fated and Destined Ones units going all out against each other and side by side really emphasizes how important the bond between them is going to be. With that all said, see you all next week for the start of the Apocrypha Holy Grail War! Can’t wait to see what Fate memes will pop up from this season.
This episode was pretty funny, such as the moments when Kento saw their new classmate, Akina's miracle didn't happen and Suo's comment about what Gabwelius was. The end of the episode was quite dramatic and seems like we're going straight to the business.

Mark this as a beginning theory The Fated ones are going to "Evolve" or change AFTER the showdown because keep in mind the fated ones were chosen based on the mindset of the players and we know design force to be INSANELY powerful so I believe the fated ones are going to change based on the player's new mindsets Example: The Fated one of Zero would turn into something like The fated one of Beginnings because 0 Marks the start point of both the positive and negative number lines matching Suo's new "Belive in a comeback" mindset
If they would evolve, my theory is : Zero -> Origin Taboo -> Corruption Ever-Changing -> Human Ego Guiding Star -> True Star Unparraled -> Finality Miracles -> Rebirth
That would be very interesting considering they most likely will be getting some new forms. Also I think there was a debate before about Fate vs. Destiny and it came down to Fate being able to be changed whereas Destiny is a bit set in stone so the original cards changing as their chosen fighters grow would be very on brand.
Not gonna lie the exposition at the start of the episode went over my head because I was bopping and vibing to the opening. Also we are SO back. Spoilers! Anyways had to rewatch the beginning, and it seems that Gabwelius' tribe died, and he's one of the survivors (bet, were gonna get Gabwelius and Sybilt as cards in the future) and Sybilt, our new bad guy goes to earth and Gabwelius gives chase which is why he ended up at Earth, he summoned the "Fated Ones", and made the Fated Clash to get enough Design force in order to create a connection within Earth and Cray and potentially end Sybilt, unfortunately Sybilt overwrote the summoning which in turn created the "Destined Ones" for now I don't know what Sybilt is planning but knowing that the Destined Showdown could potentially make more Design force than the Fated Clash he might use it to wreck havoc on Earth or posses the potential winner of the Destined Showdown as explained by Gabwelius Sybilt could posses someone but couldn't just do that because it needs Design force to do so. I also see that the potential of granting the winner a wish is also bait to fuel the desires of the participants and make them a completely different person especially the Destined Ones since Gabwelius explains that Sybilt has the power to corrupt the minds of it's surrounding life forms, sorta like Reverse in a- WAIT A MINUTE (I can see that the desires the "Destined Ones" might corrupt them and the Fated Ones might try a way to stop it). I'll leave my thoughts on the new characters in the next episode, but one thing is bothering me when they revealed the Destined Showdown, how will it work? We see in the next episode Kuon and Suo fight, but I'm curious on how will it work, it probably be explained in the next episode. Overall I feel like DivineZ season 2 is gonna be like OverDress season 2 for what is shaping up to be, I hope for more cardfights, and character development and dynamics
@@knexell5894 I’m willing to bet that the format will be a three out of five team fight, where the first team to get three wins will win the showdown, but since there are six on each team, they’ll likely get three wins each, leading to a seventh fight to determine which team will win.
@@BushidoRoad I'm really not sure how they're gonna crammed all of the fights in this season. There's 6 new ridelines which is already 6 episodes for each of them fighting the Fated team. They'll need to have a win as well to promote sales so unless all of the Fated ones loses that's an additional episode for the Destined ones. We also know that Hikari won't be fighting until around episode 7 or 8 because Liael is in another set. A team fight is cool but when you have to finish it in 13 episodes it feels cramped
A new war begins and the secrets of the Fated Clash are revealed. (In my honest opinion, the opening alone has given me Great Holy Grail War vibes from Fate/Apocrypha)

Based on this scene the destined one user may seem to have strong and possible negative emotions towards the fated one user. Maybe the reason why hikari is fighting is that she felt she stole Akina time and is hating her self because of it? Cause idk if hikari or liael would ever truly turn against those two but time will tell!

Hard not to feel bad when your older brother is doing triple duties taking the responsibilities of their dad and mom while still being a student.

So from 5:50 to 6:23 we see the Fated/Destined Pairings if multiple people/Items ate shown. Akina/Hikari, Suo and Kuon, nothing for Nao. While not shown, could be Yuna Saionji fixing Mikoto's hair, or would be in that top 5 Monthly Ranking, Taizo and Kyohma and finally Masanori holding the earpieces that Jinki used to commune with Gui

@@ingkhoeung2269 How is Akina cringe? He’s a really expressive and supportive character who sticks his neck out for his loved ones. And despite what you think, he doesn’t have plot armor. His deck is themed around thinning out his deck to increase his chances of pulling a trigger. The same is true for his fight against Taizo, since he adjusted his deck to remove all of his Heal Triggers and Sentinels to increase his odds of pulling a Critical or Front Trigger and to trick Taizo into being overly cautious. And Akina does undergo some development throughout the first season, particularly when he fought Future Hikari.
@@BushidoRoad having triggers sack deck trait doesn’t contribute to wins. He’s still a beginner. I like previous protagonist like Aichi or Yuyu better cuz it doesn’t feel too much of plot armor when there are characters stronger than them (Ren, Kai, Danji) and they do take L. It’s their growth to surpass those characters is the development I’m looking for in Akina, but we don’t cuz this guy keeps wining Season 1 overdress we can see Yuyu went from a timid boy to courageous when he try to defend marry go round. Akina started off as a cool high schooler that wants to save his sister to what? What changes in him after discovering vanguard or the fight with Hikari?

The Fated ones are going to "Evolve" or change AFTER the showdown because keep in mind the fated ones were chosen based on the mindset of the players and we know design force to be INSANELY powerful so I believe the fated ones are going to change based on the player's new mindsets
Example: The Fated one of Zero would turn into something like The fated one of Beginnings because 0 Marks the start point of both the positive and negative number lines matching Suo's new "Belive in a comeback" mindset
If they would evolve, my theory is :
Zero -> Origin
Taboo -> Corruption
Ever-Changing -> Human Ego
Guiding Star -> True Star
Unparraled -> Finality
Miracles -> Rebirth
That would be very interesting considering they most likely will be getting some new forms. Also I think there was a debate before about Fate vs. Destiny and it came down to Fate being able to be changed whereas Destiny is a bit set in stone so the original cards changing as their chosen fighters grow would be very on brand.

Not gonna lie the exposition at the start of the episode went over my head because I was bopping and vibing to the opening. Also we are SO back.

Anyways had to rewatch the beginning, and it seems that Gabwelius' tribe died, and he's one of the survivors (bet, were gonna get Gabwelius and Sybilt as cards in the future) and Sybilt, our new bad guy goes to earth and Gabwelius gives chase which is why he ended up at Earth, he summoned the "Fated Ones", and made the Fated Clash to get enough Design force in order to create a connection within Earth and Cray and potentially end Sybilt, unfortunately Sybilt overwrote the summoning which in turn created the "Destined Ones" for now I don't know what Sybilt is planning but knowing that the Destined Showdown could potentially make more Design force than the Fated Clash he might use it to wreck havoc on Earth or posses the potential winner of the Destined Showdown as explained by Gabwelius Sybilt could posses someone but couldn't just do that because it needs Design force to do so.
I also see that the potential of granting the winner a wish is also bait to fuel the desires of the participants and make them a completely different person especially the Destined Ones since Gabwelius explains that Sybilt has the power to corrupt the minds of it's surrounding life forms, sorta like Reverse in a- WAIT A MINUTE (I can see that the desires the "Destined Ones" might corrupt them and the Fated Ones might try a way to stop it).
I'll leave my thoughts on the new characters in the next episode, but one thing is bothering me when they revealed the Destined Showdown, how will it work? We see in the next episode Kuon and Suo fight, but I'm curious on how will it work, it probably be explained in the next episode. Overall I feel like DivineZ season 2 is gonna be like OverDress season 2 for what is shaping up to be, I hope for more cardfights, and character development and dynamics
@@knexell5894 I’m willing to bet that the format will be a three out of five team fight, where the first team to get three wins will win the showdown, but since there are six on each team, they’ll likely get three wins each, leading to a seventh fight to determine which team will win.
@@BushidoRoad I'm really not sure how they're gonna crammed all of the fights in this season. There's 6 new ridelines which is already 6 episodes for each of them fighting the Fated team. They'll need to have a win as well to promote sales so unless all of the Fated ones loses that's an additional episode for the Destined ones. We also know that Hikari won't be fighting until around episode 7 or 8 because Liael is in another set. A team fight is cool but when you have to finish it in 13 episodes it feels cramped

Great first episode of Season 2. Akina and Hikari were having a great time, until Sybilt showed up and convinced her to join their side somehow.

Sybilt could tell Hikari about the alternate timeline in which Akina get killed trying to ssave her, so she could wish that Akina stops feeling responsible for her illness.
@bluerose 1217 I think that taizo might found liael amorta in the top of the building that where future hikari disappeared since last episode and he will give it to akina later before the start of the last match and he might using it to guard on hikari's first or final attack just like when he challenged Suo which it might help trigger a bit I think

Based on this scene the destined one user may seem to have strong and possible negative emotions towards the fated one user. Maybe the reason why hikari is fighting is that she felt she stole Akina time and is hating her self because of it? Cause idk if hikari or liael would ever truly turn against those two but time will tell!
@@jamesluong5299 Pretty sure Hikari does feel guilty for taking up so much of Akina's time. The guy is the only family member to actually take care about her. Hard not to feel bad when your older brother is doing triple duties taking the responsibilities of their dad and mom while still being a student.

@@jamesluong5299 Future Hikari timeline no longer existed after Akina won Fated Clash. Hence Liel- Amorta no longer existed, but Liel- Odium was manifested because of Sybilt. Liel- Amorta and Liel-Odium is the same unit, but in different clans due to circumstance.

While not shown, could be Yuna Saionji fixing Mikoto's hair, or would be in that top 5 Monthly Ranking, Taizo and Kyohma and finally Masanori holding the earpieces that Jinki used to commune with Gui
Such details, this is why I love this show. But Akina still suck. I just notice Jinki has red eye indicating Gui while his reflection showed himself instead, interesting

@@ingkhoeung2269 How is Akina cringe? He’s a really expressive and supportive character who sticks his neck out for his loved ones. And despite what you think, he doesn’t have plot armor. His deck is themed around thinning out his deck to increase his chances of pulling a trigger. The same is true for his fight against Taizo, since he adjusted his deck to remove all of his Heal Triggers and Sentinels to increase his odds of pulling a Critical or Front Trigger and to trick Taizo into being overly cautious. And Akina does undergo some development throughout the first season, particularly when he fought Future Hikari.
@@BushidoRoad having triggers sack deck trait doesn’t contribute to wins. He’s still a beginner. I like previous protagonist like Aichi or Yuyu better cuz it doesn’t feel too much of plot armor when there are characters stronger than them (Ren, Kai, Danji) and they do take L. It’s their growth to surpass those characters is the development I’m looking for in Akina, but we don’t cuz this guy keeps wining
Season 1 overdress we can see Yuyu went from a timid boy to courageous when he try to defend marry go round. Akina started off as a cool high schooler that wants to save his sister to what? What changes in him after discovering vanguard or the fight with Hikari?
