- This is a quick 10 step guide for anyone who is prone to a little too much shopping and is looking to slow down and take a step back. The world will benefit so much from each tiny change any one of us makes and so it's always a good time to make changes for the better..
In a nutshell -
CLEAR OUT: Donate, giveaway, swop, sell, up-cycle
EDUCATE: Find style inspiration, get specific on what your style is
My personal faves:

ORGANISE + REORGANISE: Spend time with your clothes, mood-board, outfit build, enjoy what you already own.
GET DRESSED: Further nail down your style by wearing your clothes - every day! No half baked fits here please!
THRIFT: Get involved online, in charity shops.
REBUILD: Try as far as possible to rebuild through second hand as above, take it slow and find the perfect 2nd hand gems to fill any gaps in your wardrobe.
CURB THE URGE: Frustrated? Curb the urge to go back to fast fashion by checking out these accounts:

UNDERSTAND YOUR LIFESTYLE: No need for clothing you don't use, know what works for what fills your days and cater to those activities - no more/no less.
BE PREPARED: Have planned outfits waiting to go (using what you own) so when occasions arise you won't be prone to needless purchases or 'one-off wears'.
SUSTAINABLE REWARD: Okay, give it to yourself! Splurge if you must but think about truly sustainable brands, about made to order options or select from a curated vintage store. (Shameless plug for one of my up-cycled shirts?)
And remember - every bit counts!

Great post! I agree 100% that the biggest mistake most make is they buy for a phase of life they used to have or hope to have but not for the life they are actually living. Another great point was the idea of going through your wardrobe and creating new outfits. I'll add that i cruise about on Pinterest looking for ideas of how I might pair colors, or similar looking pieces from my own wardrobe or how to accessorize something that felt hackneyed but was suddenly fresh because I had gained that new point of view. BTW my husband and I watch the other vlog. I hope you are successful with BOTH of them!
Hi Terri! It’s such a good point to play with what we already have instead of looking outside of ourselves where we’re sometimes left feeling we need more😅 I mostly make these videos because I just LOVE talking about this stuff so thank you for watching ❤️
I’m far from being a fashion guru, in fact I have been describes as a fashion-conscious luddite, but you’ve got me thinking about having a clear out. I have far too much stuff on the clothing front. A very inspiring vlog 😉
Good to hear👌🏻🙌🏻☺️
Great video! I’ve been thinking about all of these points lately. Been really enjoying the creativity it sparks versus the dopamine hit of shopping and new things.
Love your videos❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amazing🌹🌹
Love the video!! Great tips!!!
Hi! Just seeing this now, thank you for sharing your own wardrobe journey and tricks to keep it feeling fresh! I love hearing this! Thanks for being here🙏🏻✌🏻❤️
When was your turning point of stepping out of fashion industry as e know ? Mine was when I figured I was only making stuff to sell, cheap and lots . This is not who I am anymore . Mantaing workers and paying bills turned my creativity off 😢
Beautiful video, are you beautiful 🥰
Thank you!
