You can kinda trust this show for authenticity . Isme animated ke karan bohot minor creative liberty li gayi hai jaise vo bandar aur calf jo khelte hain hassi mazak kar rahe hain sab jo bas itna creative liberty baaki sab lagbhag sach hai iss show ka.
Yes, you will see some little changes in story screening /presenting ( between mahabharat & little Krishna) but the "message" in it is the same. What actually lord Krishna wants to tell us through his journey of life.
If you would observe carefully while watching "little Krishna " , you will see the detailing of an artist, of the whole team . It definitely teaches us about many things for eg: communication skills, when Krishna wants something from his mother or from anyone , he uses the term " meri pyari mayya/ anyone " so that they could give him what he want.
