I grew up in Florida and spent my childhood in a midcentury home. Everything was white and orange. Bright orange carpets and white leather chairs and plastic hoop tables. Outside my bedroom was an outdoor shower that heated water from the roof or cool water from a well. Our game room featured a pinball machine and pool table. Dining was a sunken Japanese type table with a cooking service to keep food hot once served. We had plenty of skylights and Orange and Lemon trees in the house. Our house was built in 1953. I miss it so. It was cleared away for a shopping area in the mid 1990's.
Thank you for the production on this! You actually give the viewer time to really look at a shot, amazing! Of course we can always pause it when we need to look deeper into what's going on, but at least we don't need to pause the video every other second!! Also, as a Feng shui professional, I would love to go over every shot (with the powers that be) and make quick analyses as to what's going on energy wise. So many of these design concepts could move to an entirely different level with just a few changes. Thank you though.
It's interesting how almost everyone's knee jerk reaction is decorating with oranges. The wood is already orange. How about a counter point of cooling blues and greens?
