It's really amazing to see just how big K-Pop has grown over the years. I only wish it was as big when I was growing up...unfortunately it didn't become a global phenomenon until about around 2011. I've been going hard for K-Pop since 2001.

What about the singing competitors? Because honestly how can you host a competition using the same criteria to judge both singing and dancing? And where are the legit judges that are deemed qualified to judge the performers in their field?
Everyone brought their A game because this is a competition, but using such a system to host this competition is an insult to both the performers and Melbourne itself.
I hope this gets rectified if there will be a future competition because at the moment you're just turning off future performers.

PS: "The judges didn't miss a thing!". Yeah they did, our fellow performers who already performed witnessed some of them walk out while our other friends are on stage.
PPS: "The Kpop world festival in Melbourne will sure be remembered by many Kpop lovers!" for dodgy judging and biased group outlook. What an utter joke of an event.
To performers in other countries, if this shit happens, we feel you. Much love from Melbourne.
Not just KBS, but TV stations all over the world do these stupid stunts to gain ratings. That's why "reality" tv shows aren't all that real. Why these things try as hard as they can to make the term competition contain negative connotation and have it seem like good sportsmanship is rare and not present in what's going on in the 'competition'.
It's rather upsetting and it's even more upsetting that we really can't do much about it
How cool so there are heaps of kpop fans in Melbourne I guess most of them will be going to Bigbang concert next month

I swear I got a heart attack every time BTS was mentioned and when the song a song came I died.
Yeh if anyone was wondering, the events didn't go like this at all. All the placed teams got exclusive interviews at special locations before the actual competition (not fishy at all). And no one was suddenly worried about Pepero being a 'dark horse' LOL what stories, we were just enjoying the performances. The teams are all friends anyway and KBS is just spinning lies and hosting bogus competitions. There were so many other good groups and performers that they should have featured here too.

So, was it KBS employees that picked winners? Pepero??? Seriously? Over that AO Crew with the awecome choreography? Or did Pepero do something wild that wasn't included in the film?
I don't know why but all the performances were so lackluster, the dancers didn't really hit the moves right and so they lost some of the effect. I can't say anything about the singers and rappers since we barely saw them.
