Frankly you can get rich easily even without stealing in this game. Skallitz has unlimited bandit respawns with top-tier gear, and they're always fighting each other. Even if you can't fight for shit, you can sneak around and loot pricey stuff.
Easy solution - play on hardcore mode... Skalitz is so far if you ride there. You can still get around without much crime.. I didnt bought single piece of gear before the hunting quest :D
Then use the safe passage perk. You get blackout drunk and even when overloaded or on hardcore you’ll wake up all the way at home in bed. Loot safe and sound
Simply drop all items in miller Pershek's chest. Wait till resell day, then take the coins from the chest. Note: Stealing does not affect your reputation as long as you are not caught. But the general atmosphere will rise. Their is no display for it, but all merchants will increase their prices, they will pay less and it's more likely that guards wanna see your pockets
When they try to stop and search you, ignore them entirely, let them follow you around until they get annoyed so much they attack you; then immediately surrender and they'll only fine you 30 groschen and won't search you Hope this helps. Cannot guarantee it still works but as fat as I'm aware it does
If my character looked as good as "poor Henry" in the thumbnail, I'd be happy. My clothes and armour were literal tatters until I actually bothered to do _The Good Thief._
I just go to skalitz hack them bandits to pieces, loot there expensive armor and if you have the pribyslavitz dlc go tho master Ota and sell your armor. When Ota sells your gear he will earn allot of money when he has over 100.000 groschen I come over and collect the tax as I’m the bailiff.
Hey thanks for the tip I just did this... I've been just stealing things from vendors and then selling them to the Miller... (Which was pretty good you get like a thousand every time) but since you showed me where his chest is I just stole 46,000 from him
U should get a horse and then just kill bandits and cumans fill ure horse bags and ure inv and sell it all u make so much and this is not even stealing included there a few Knights who roam around they have really high tier gear so choke em out and steal it u immediately have ure main gear and some money
I don't know if anyone is aware.. dice players are pretty rich.. 900 grochen per night. I do it on 2 one in talmberg and one in uzhitz. Just sneak up on them while they're asleep knock em out and repeat
What problem with guards? You can just pay them 20 without search and keep stolen items indefinitely or until apprehended for serious crimes. Actually if you flee without surrender and paying bribe its already more serious crime.
So you need to be able to open Very Hard locks, then wait for the stuff to cool off, then get the vendor up to the point he can afford to buy it all. Ok then
May I ask, what is the purpose of putting the items in pashek's chest, and then buying them back from him and taking the money back? When I place items in the chest, and want to buy it back from pashek, the price increases to its original exorbitant selling price again. Am I missing something, or do I simply not understand the purpose of this tactic.
@@primaljoker3040 Bs. #1, your horse may carry the weight, but who are you selling gear to? The miller's are not that rich and practically nobody else wants stolen goods, even with the perk, so you're forced to store most of it. #2 if you're drunk all the time, then you're bound to be having trouble navigating around, with all the swaying. #3 there comes a time when wealth no longer matters, as you can get gear through theft or killing enemies, so purchasing anything becomes pointless. My stealth, lockpicking, and pickpocket are maxxed, without any perks that negatively impact other abilities, I have no need to drink to increase my lockpicking through the perk, and I can rob whatever I want... and I still only have about 43k. There's no reason at all to purposely amass so much wealth, as whatever you need can be achieved through a regularly paced game; it happens quite naturally. By the time you think you need money to buy anything, you likely could just steal it, lockpick a chest for it, or get it off an enemy. My only concern when breaking into a merchant's shop/chest is cleaning out all the repair kits. Exaggerating the amount of money you've collected is just bs, especially when there's no practical reason for doing so.
I am looking for a more moderate source of money. I don't want to be so rich that it ruins the fun. I still want to have to struggle & work for it. But I don't want it to be a tedious grind of repetition where it makes me not want to play anymore.
You can do it my way. Blag the bookies (gamblers) in the inns. They tend to re-spawn their money. Takes a while and needs a better stealth and pickpocket levels. so you'll need to work for it, boy! And never forget - the thief works at nights. Also, train maintenance levels, by fixing tools from cobblers, armourers, blacksmiths, tailors and fix the goods from the bandits and cumans you meet and kill. Then sell it. Need charisma and speech for better prices.
Lmao I just recently got this game on xbox and I feel your pain 😂 , but if u go into the settings in game tab and scroll down you should see a lockpicking setting where it should be on original change it to simplified
If this video is the worst 3:47 mins of your life you must have a fantastic life! Steal your money back from the chest and now the items are yours for free
My lock picking lvl is 12 and its still says its to difficult any solution to that?
Lvl up more?
Very hard locks range from lvl 9 to 15 so yes lvl up more or get luck of the drunk
Ask Miller Peshek for more advanced lockpick training
