If you want to make this tikki for falahar, please use kuttu(buckwheat) or amaranth flour instead of cornflour. I have tried with both these substitutes.
Little bit of cornflour is added for binding and making the tikkis crispy. Cornflour can be skipped or replaced with maida, kuttu, singhara or amaranth(rajgira) flour.

Hi, you can keep the dough in fridge but don't add salt to it. Add it before making tikkis.

Corn flower ki jagah chwal ka aata milaya to crispy cutlet banege kay
I have not tried this recipe with rice flour but I think it should work.
use poha instead of chawal ka aata....its better in binding n texture
