What a mind expanding lecture. Just when you think you understand the limits of what is [even theoretically] possible, a guy like Terence takes it to another level. Brilliant.

Honestly I think you can even apply this to today's culture around social media and online content creation, especially livestreaming. Everyday people are projecting a stylized version of their personalities for all to see, and those personalities interact with each other in an entirely virtual space

Terrence McKenna is one who clearly communicated with the spirits.
One of the best. Agreed that the last ten minutes is pretty mind blowing. As a writer myself interested in sci fi, his thoughts on our technological future always seem so so on point. One of the great thinkers of our time and he is mostly unknown.

Videogames are a good example of what Terrance was predicting for the future of art. Modern games allow for immersion into worlds in unprecedented ways.
Qualified mediators can fully absorb into refined subtle states and dance at the gates of death. Terrence studied Tantra but unfortunately I think he missed the point. I listen to Terrence most days. He's a genius. I believe the conclusion he came to was that mind is everything. What Tantra enables is to abide in a torrent of bliss and personally manifest reality. Who knows maybe he did see and it's just me that doesn't get it, ha. Love you guys, hope your well and happy!
