Exploring Surrey Docks Farm and a video tour along the River Thames, London - Outdoor learning

Where can you go with children that is Free, educational, interactive, fun, and has a great cafe? OK, so there's a few candidates in London, but Surrey Docks Farm has all of these things and more. It's also the only city farm in London where you can enter the enclosure with the goats. There's a working blacksmith on site where you can see them crafting iron and a wonderful cafe with organic produce.
Then there's a great walk along the river Thames, opposite Canary Wharf towers - with plenty of opportunities to search for treasure on the beach along the way.
The address of the farm is Rotherhithe St, London SE16 5ET, and it's easy to get to via the Overground. I got the C10 bus from Canada Water (2mins) - bus is just outside the stations. It's a small bus so you have to get on using the back doors.
