Marinlord is perfect at forcing opponents to do what they themselves advise against in guides. GOAT of Age of Empires 4.
Thats the strange thing about getting second place, everyone calls you trash and “you should retire”. But everyone tells 3rd and 4th place “keep going you almost had it!” 2nd place is such a tough position, and people can be so toxic

Marinelord was cracked that day. He must've been having a really good time, never missing a beat and dancing around beasty for the whole set.
Dancing? The only long game you saw who i more skilled. In the other games Marinelord won by tryhard practice without streaming and looking at beastys streams.

Was there ever in AOE4 an S-tier tournament that was this one-sided? ML lost 3 maps the whole tournament

Those people that post those kinds of contradictory comments remind me of nice guys that suddenly become rude when a girl ignores them (or denies them).
This kind of behaviour is usually typical of children under 15 years old, not adults like those, sheesh.
Anyway, amazing games all around Beasty. Keep doing what you doing. MarineLord is also an amazing player but he doesn't make my day with daily videos and hilarious commentary like you do.

@@Ohmic96 You give a nice example... generalizing based on a profile pic or other forms of idenity is another common thing that children love to do. When you can't find anything to attack, it's an easy way to give yourself ammo.
You may find this concept hard to grasp, but what people do and what profile pic they use, are not always correlated😉

It's a bit sad to know that we won't get to see your most competitive self since you can't practice as much as the other players but at the same time it's formidable to see how you manage to remain a top 2 player and maintain this level of play against the top of the crop. And the content you can put out thanks to this choice more than makes up for it

Beasty you should try to develop some defensive booming style. Try to force lategame matches. This is clearly where your comfort zone is. You do like a death by thousand cuts style where you attack everywhere all at once.

That first game, when Beasty tried to castle, ML instantly walked hit army towards the age up.. I was thinking "wait, is that a coinciedence? or is he able to see that?"

To be fair I think the ML fan problem will not calm down, in France big orgs fan (KC, Vitality and M8) are now a lot inspired by football ultras and they will say/write things that they will not know that it can hurt people because in between those orgs fan that are all in rivalry will always talk to each other like that. Now that M8 has ML, some M8 fan that watch ML will write things like what you showed and will justify it by saying it's just banter.
I never noticed beasty fans that were toxic. The Marinelord fans act like they are 12 though.
