    It’s very interesting and inspiring to see how many different cities and towns have their own tramways and trams in very different liveries.

      Indeed, tomorrow evening will see a visit to Nottingham. I hope to cover Croydon later this month as well as Cardiff when it opens later this year

    Nice to see that it most definitely is a proper tramway. Which city is this?

      This is Birmingham to Wolverhampton. It runs through both city centres and between them on a dedicated rail section

    That’s not a bad livery!! Does this tramway run close to roads or is it not quite what I think of as a tramway? As a Londoner living in Hertfordshire, tramways run along the middle of the road rather than on a separated line like a train.

      This route, like many modern tramways, has a mix of road running, segregated road running and traditional rail running. A large chunk of the current route is over the track bed of an old rail line, but it does run through Birmingham and Wolverhampton centres on either the roadway or on paved line alongside the road
