The sub frames and underside have survived well, down to the patented Holden from factory oil sprayer rust protection plan. But seriously the years of build up has kept it very sound underneath for its age.Derek is going to hit you with a cease and desist

brings back memories of doing the same job on the EH prem back in the late 70's when we lived in lyneham
the clutch would be worth more than the old ute lol

So dont replace spigot bearing even though you have a new one and dont adjust the clutch?

What about the flywheel.?So you like changing clutches.Pull the engine and gearbox way easier than ginning around under the car

For the sake of what I needed the car for at the time I didn’t see the need to pull the flywheel to send of for surface grinding. I didn’t pull the motor as it was all still running & a lot of the original parts are very fragile & I didn’t need to replace for a 1 weekend event.

Only suggesting lot easier than working under the car each to their own I know which is quicker and easier unless you have a hoist.@@BackyardBuilds

@@BackyardBuilds yeah when you're around mates, but it's trickier online, we don't have a version of vgc really but still.
