How old are you hippy? What do you do for work? If you don't mind my asking... learn a trade friend... you'll have to start from the bottom but what you'll learn is invaluable and will save you thousands and thousands. Pays very well. I do hvacr. Started as an install helper. You might be poor but your only poor right now... chin up.

Well done, first time I was on a paddle board I went right in the drink. Of course, I thought I could just walk on to it no problem and it rapidly taught me the respect I was .lacking. It never occured to me that I could go on my knees. Some really cool upgrades you've made, super happy for you. My wife and I just got our place ready for summer at the lake so we'll be out on the water soon too.

So true- when I started watching these videos I assumed boat people were mostly snobs but seeing Nick and his friends/ family and all the other boat people from the channel my opinion has changed- real salt of the Earth people - I guess doing what you love makes for a happy person and it's clear Nick loves everything about boats/ boating
Nice toys to play with but with a serious side to them. Safety is the key to safe boating. Plus the fusion stereo system. All to make your trips out safe comfortable and fun. So long as Nick doesn't sing. 😊. Looks fun and I'm sure that 😊 Greg will be watching carefully to see what Nick done. 😊

You've done some wonderful work on the upgrades this winter, nick I'm very impressed with your navigational aids especially the new VHF set-up and your new Garman screen. The paddleboard is a great addition to 'Smuggler's Blues 2' and was inflated in double quick time by another new upgrade. The upgrades you've made to your boat will only add to the cost if you ever come to sell her nick,well done.

I was going to say, I was suprised you didnt make a massive announcement, in that you had decided to buy the Fairline Targa 40. As much as you liked it so did I, But you cant beat something that has become part of the family, smugglers Blue 2 must be a lovely friend to have , to just take yourself into your own place. Enjoy watching how you work on the boat to upgrade. Intrigued about the integrated pump system. I just got a great external pump today, which is amazing in filling up my inflatables. But it is another thing lying around on the boat…
My boat is a 2024 model, so many of the things you install are standard on mine at this time. But seeing you upgrade to same functionality holds promise about my boat too being able to age and add future features.

Great video as always Nick. I remember launching my paddle board off the back of my boat for the first time to try and impress my wife. Needless to say it was a comedy moment as i lost my balance immediately and tumbled into the water losing an expensive pair of sunglasses at the same time. My wife just gave me one of those looks and went back to reading her book. My kids now use it...............

I saw your video of her launched this year. She was looking as good if not better than a new boat. Well done, Sir. I hope theirs a lovely spot. You can take her , anchor , and just stay a night or two. Just relaxing with beautiful scenery. Especially with your busy schedule, 1 needs to recharge. If able to what would be the next size up for your personal boat

Owning a boat is not an investment. Nick has repeatedly demonstrated that boats need maintenance and even upgrading with time.

Always nice to see how Smugglers Blues 2 is coming along. Nice upgrades. I like the new Fusion Sound system. Enjoyed seeing the Red Paddle board. Great auto inflator that saves time and effort. You have improved on your balancing and paddling 😊. Thanks for this video Nick !

If I'd know you were looking for a stainless steel flag pole, we could have sourced you one in the US! Tig Tech Marine make great ones that are removable, I have one on my Cobalt. Zipwake looks interesting, I have regular Lenco tabs and a Bennett Autotrim gizmo which has the full auto capability. I just press a button and leave it, it's fantastic.

One bit of advice from a seasoned paddler: get a quick-release waist belt for the leash so you can wear it in flowing water with obstructions; you can easily free yourself if snagged but keeps the board close if you come off. You don’t want to lose that lovely board & it can be a lifesaver if you get cold water shock.
That's a good idea, although to be honest, I think it will mostly get used when we're anchored in bays along the coast.
Nick … it’s all fantastic but the paddle board certainly is awesome. Now I want one!

Nice additions to your boat, really like your trim tabs that can automatically adjust trim while underway. The Fusion stereo system is quite a good piece of kit for cruising or relaxing. All of what you’ve done will add safety and enjoyment to a very well kept boat

That is one well loved boat, and a credit to her owner! The work that Coastal Marine did on cleaning and waxing the GRP is superb, and looks even better now she's on the water! As for the upgrades, what a list! If I had to choose it would be between the Zipwake and the Fusion - probably the Fusion, because you can enjoy that on the plane and at anchor - but think like you I would just have ticked all the boxes! Have a great summer.

What a beautiful boat, nice interior, i assume there's a head through that door. Rock out to some tunes and cruise, thats all you need. Hopefully one day ill be able to own one.
