I knew when I first saw them perform live they had all the qualities to become a successful band. And now watching them explode in popularity is surreal. This is fairly common in Kpop, for example, I remember AOA's "Eye contact" versions of several MV... But nowadays they use multiple cameras from a distance instead though... so I guess you're right that doing it this way is not so common anymore...
