    Ingredients Recipe:
    Stove High heat
    4 cups of water
    2 freshly washed Thyme
    4 cloves of sliced garlic
Let cook while cutting 1 pound of pumpkin (washed) into cubes
Add pumpkin to boiling hot water
Add tsp of salt and mix and cover cooking for 15 minutes high heat
While cooking, make cornmeal dumplings and cover wrap it and put it to the side
Cayote cut into 4 quarters. Peel and cut out middle and skin and cut into cubes. Put aside.
Peel two carrots and slice. Put aside
Peel two irish potatoes and cut in halves. Put aside
Cut 1 head of corn. Put aside
    3 stocks of green onion/scallion
Cut root off and slice thinly. Put aside
    More washed fresh thyme
    Scotch bonnet (do not chop)
    Put aside
Peel yam and cover in lime juice to prevent oxidizing. Cut into cubes. Put in bowl of water and let soak. Put aside
Add two more cups of water to pot and smash a couple cubes of pumpkin to enhance texture in soup. Let boil.
Wash out the lime off of the yams and pour yams, and potatoes in pot.
While boiling, make cornmeal dumplings and put in pot. Stir so veggies dont stick.
Bring high heat down to medium. Cover. Let boil. Add 3 more cups of water and add the rest of the veggies.
Add bag of spicy Cock soup mix
Add scallion, scotch bonnet, thyme to pot and cover and boil.
Add all-purpose seasonings and cover for 5 minutes
Let me know if I missed anything!! Except for chicken feet.

That water is like stock and its rich in collagen which makes the soup gummy. But on a whole everything tun up. Nuff respect from yaad 🇯🇲

Caribbean people wash our meat. We wash everything. Scalding meat is a definite. A tear almost left my eye. You are doing it right. Proud of you. Much success with your career and channel. Do you know that washing chicken spread salmonella all over your kitchen seeing as water splashes!
Focus on washing and not cooking🙄.
Additionally, vegetables breathe..so good luck washing what is already consumed by the growing process.

Looks delicious. I'm sure the chicken foot is sort of like eating the 3rd part of the chicken wing. My mom "Jamaican Born" makes chicken foot soup all the time so I'm gonna give it a go next time she makes it.
Saving this video so I can make your version for her and my dad and my dad is also "Jamaican Born"

Carene Fuller You don’t like cooking? You survive on take out or frozen dinners or ramen? That’s a shame if you do. Not trying to put you down but cooking is an essential life lesson. You can start off with small dishes. No need to fear the kitchen.
