I always use a cage with my camera. It's like having a Lego system for filmmaking. lol.

I think that’s the best way I’ve ever heard it put!

Great Job! Lol, I currently have A6600 but I feel stealing your A6700 😂

I heavily looked into buying an A6600, but the fully articulating screen is what sold me on the A6700! Otherwise, not much else to write home about (at least, in my opinion).

Definitely the grip factor is the main reason my a6400 lives in a cage

One of the downsides is.... It's not compatible with all lenses and or adapters. Nikon or Canon adapter will not mount when the camera is in the cage.

I… did not know that. Thank you for pointing this out!

Great video. Do you by any chance do flash photography. Does the cage prevent the flash from fully entering the hot shoe on top of the a6700 camera? That’s if you have a flash you can use to try.
I’ve ordered an a6700 as a replacement for my zve10. The small rig cage for zve10 had that flaw. The flash couldn’t be used with the cage on, so I had to get a Ulanzi cage instead. I’m hoping they fixed it for the a6700 cage.

Great question, but no it should not prevent the flash from entering the hot shoe! I've used several mic receivers in the slot with the cage and there seems to be ample room, as the top is cutout around the original mount (it comes out towards the lens).
Having also come from the ZVE10, I can attest that the Smallrig cage for that camera is less than ideal... but the grip was nice.
One thing I'll mention to you, or anyone else that sees this comment, but Smallrig is the only cage for the A6700 that offers two mounting locations, whereas every other cage only mounts to the base 1-4/20 mount. Smallrig utilizes the right lanyard strap mount for a screw in the cage body, which is a MAJOR selling point for me as a A6700 user!

@@Novice-Media thanks for the reply. I've placed an order for the Small rig. Will test it out. And well, from my research, I heard the Neewer cage for the a6700 has 3 mounting points.

Wasn't aware the Neewer cage had that! I guess I'll be picking up another cage to add to my collection...
