Love your videos Brandon you and many other guntubers inspired me to build a akm using headspaced parts from arms of america can’t wait to have my first Ak! 🎉 have a great day
Man I cant believe it took me this long to realise you started a channel Crispy!!! Fuck yeah, made my day brother. Best of luck. And from one vet to another thank you for your service brother!!! You're an inspiration to us all man.
If I stubbed my toe in the morning I am worthless the rest of the day. The fact that crispy is able to live his life in spite of the circumstances he’s in his truly inspirational
Damn. Way to do the fine motor skill stuff. You are the man. Your hands are F'd up, I have only a singular thumb and index finger I am relearning how to use. I degloved a thumb a little over a year ago and messed up index finger. Doc sewed it back on. Did a descent job of arts and crafts. Still relearning fine motor skills and I suck, but never giving up. I salute you for living life to the fullest each day.
No idea your back story, but clicked a suggest vid to see a giant of a man with wrecked hands concentrating on fitting a rivet. No swearing, no quit ... 3 minutes in, that's enough to warrant a sub. I want to know more about this man.
Man, it's awesome to see you doing this stuff!, been a fan for yrs, enjoy it when you visit the guys(Demo,Brandon, lurkers, and etc). Enjoy your new lady! From a Jarhead to a 11Bravo Semper Fi!.
Crispy, you give me hope. I'm an old fart with what is called essential tremor. I've had it almost all my life but it's gotten worse over the years. Long ago I lost my ability to handwrite anything. Now, if it's not typeable I can't do it. (Makes 4473 forms a chore involving a few extra people) I shoot well though and I enjoy shooting. Decades ago I was a USN Gunner's Mate and I kind of miss being able to break a weapon down to just a tray full of parts and then put it back together again. I can manage doing a field strip, and I've built an AR but I would never consider doing what you did in this video. Watching you do it though, man, it makes me want to kick myself in the ass and say, "If Crispy can do it then I have no flipping excuse." Now, I have none of the equipment needed to do this, but I'm not going to shy away from difficult tasks such as this in the future. Yes, I'll fail and I'll get frustrated, just as you do, but also like you, I plan to just keep on keeping on and get 'er done. Thank you for an awesome video, bro.
Great job on the build. The furniture looks great and the extra work it takes to build and AK makes it seem a little more special. Great to see you and Brandon together in a video. Congrats and stay safe brothers.............
Fantastic job Crispy and you know before I started watching Brandon I never thought about an AK much but watching him do his stuff and I'm becoming addicted and try to find some who has one to try one out. Stay crispy
Excellent Video! I have built several AKs and I always enjoy watching someone build their first one. I'm not 'trashing' on anyone but it is Cool when folks learn that 'Building' an AR is assembling Legos and 'Building' an AK is building. Dang Brandon, No air-over hydraulic on the press? I hope your metal lathe is nicer than mine! I might have a better drill press, mines a Rockwell. It kills me that I'm so OCD that I have fancier tools in my 'Home-shop' than some of the professional shops use. That is a Nice rivet tool though! Take Care Crispy and Thank you for your Service, John
Crispy f_ing Rocks !! as usual kicking arse in everything ,i aspire to be even half as good as you id be pretty dam happy ,an inspiration to all that think it ain't possible ,when clearly proof is in the pud,,,,no,,,,Crispy!!
I cannot wait I plan on getting in on one of his build classes in the next couple years. This was an unusually tough year financially for me so it ain't going to happen this year but I'm a huge fan and I wanted to do this since I heard you held the first class. Now on after having to sell a bunch of guns to pay for this Christmas I'm only getting guns that are on my list and a brand and Herrera AK class build AK-74 is one of those guns
Thanks for the vid guys. My first time trying to get a barely in I was able to do it with some oak scraps and a good hammer got it in smooth and true but then I learned about headspace and how hard it is to get the barrel to go the other way 🤣
Hey man, I was an 11B with the 82nd 1st/504th from 04-12. I love your appearances on the other guys channels and didn’t even know you had your own going! Awesome content bro keep it up!
There is a reason you don't see the AK system in a 50. or even a 12.7. When the design was used by almost every other aspect of the soviet weapons design.
P chance of a lifetime to hang out with the guys and making an AK it's a great video with crispy I love it great video with Brandon Herrera and his boys and I'm trying to use the r much harder now thanks crispy love you brother. Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
Nice work and beautiful build! I learned from Brandon, Zack, and Ryan when they hosted a build class a few years back with Heavy Metal Tactical. Definitely learning from the best AK builders around.
@@avlawns3037 They left out some of the most crucial parts of PROPER assembly of an AK in the Video as we both know.... and whats up with the bare receiver ??? No Bluing or Cerakote or even Paint for that matter ???
Such a great video! This is the type of content that truly matters and gets people. Great depth to the subject and awesome repartee as always between you goobers. Also, maybe it'll convince some people to get an AK too. But, probably not. 😉
Way back in the days when the first kits hit the shores of the USA, companies like Century had the market cornered. It gave light to built by the Angry Beavers. Can't say I knew one person that a Century built guy ran out of the box.. I picked up some super premo kits over the years before Uncle Sam stopped allowing in kits with complete barrels. Still have some Krink kits, a few M-85, 5.56 kits and a few Polish under folders along with a few Tantal 5.45 kits. AK's are like potato chips, you can't just have one.
Brandon lured Crispy to the dark side, (A.K.A.) the AK side. It slowly happens, first you find the empty butt hole and then it's all down hill from there. Just kidding Sir great job, cant wait to see you put some range time on it.
They should have provided you with a magnetic screwdriver. They make things so much easier, especially when dealing with small screws. I deal with a lot of screws and other hardware, at work. Oh, wait, maybe a magnetic screwdriver is to Capitalist to use on or near an AK.
Dude, I know where your coming from with doing small shit! I've lost the use of both my pinky finger and ring finger on both hands. Bro top man for keeping on trucking. Pros I wish I had the chance to build an AK but I'm in da UK 🇬🇧 so I don't see that happening anytime soon. It's a bummer that I can't enter comps coz the stuff you just use over here. 😕

You don’t sit around at home doing the “I’m disabled” thing…
You could. You don’t!
So, if Krispy made a short AK, would it be a Krispy Krink? 🤔
If so I bet that would make Krispy Kreme 😆🤣😂
He got his "Precious". Don't let anything hold you back. Great video.
I love this. AR's are built with micrometer and white gloves AK's are built with hammers and press
Ak's are built with files and rocks, good old fashioned manufacturing like they should be!
Can we all agree that all B-Roll on this channel needs to be called Extra Crispy? Its on brand.

See his biography video on Black Rifle Coffee. It is separated into 2 videos. He is a walking inspiration!
Looks like he survived an IED in Iraq, Purple heart recipient.
Every real American should sub to this man. Its least we could do. We wouldnt be able to, without dudes like this.

Nice to see Crispy again! I haven’t seen him since I deleted my Instagram a while back.
YeeYee. Watching you learn how to build this was awesome.

I've wanted to build an ak for years but it definitely seems daunting without somone to teach you.

Yes they do

one pro tip, if you charge handle of ak go full send and then let it go, don't push it forward - it might cause problems feeding/jamming

That is a sexy machine, the AK is ok as well.
With all that effort, makes you wonder how those are manufactured by the millions in third world countries?!
It’s because a country with a specialized factory that makes these can pump them out for really cheap
You would be surprised how little people like that get paid
The bad ones are poorly made and unusable. The good ones are made with the manufacturing facility given by the USSR.
The same way they make Your IPhone in china.
Factories
All Ak’s are crappy theres a reason only third world country buy them
