- Quick little pmv, again. This time these are different ocs, ones ive actually never shared on here before- Ross and Percy! Contextually they are object ocs, I made Ross for an object camp and Percy soon after for Ross's backstory, but they've kiiiiiinda been invading my mind lately. They're a lot of fun :) They're also cats tho because that's just easier for me to draw than objects haha.
I really enjoyed making this, I only spent a few hours on the art for it and another few on the editing. Really didn't take too long. I made a doodle of something prior to this with a similar style and went "hm, I really like this" LOL so yeah.
Gonna infodump abt their story for those curious at the bottom of the desc, but tldr Ross (red) is sent out to kill Percy (purple) but instead falls for her and they kind of become a thing but Ross still ends up having to kill her. Betrayal. Yeah :(

Anywhoooo basic plot of their little story is that Ross (strawberry/red cat) is a knight and is sent out to eliminate Percy (dragonfruit/purple cat/dragon). It's a sort of lowkey mission, Ross is to gather intel before striking, yada yada. So they meet, Ross befriends Percy, and next thing you know BAM she kind of has a massive crush on her. Feeling is mutual. They kind of become a thing. Lets go lesbians. But unfortunately a job is a job, and Ross gets threatened with her life if she doesn't kill Percy soon enough. So she does. Percy's life force is actually dictated by a star shard embedded into her (plot relevant I swear), and she is able to turn into a dragon bc of said shard, and does so in a last ditch effort to survive. But Ross is like super cracked and ends up killing her (again) and removing the shard this time. Talk abt traumatizing. They make me sad tho I need to make an au where they are HAPPY PLEASE!!!!
This would make more sense if I gave the full full context but I already wrote a lot so im stopping now :)
Ok but like the part where Ross' paw keeps striking and getting soaked with blood while percy's panel thing is completely empty for a few seconds while her text fades away is horrifying what the fuck
Not empty it's soaked with blood but you get what i mean
That was such a visceral image I got when first imagining this thing that I had to include it so on one hand I'm glad it had that effect but on the other I am so sorry lol
the 16 mirrors on repeat where it gets bloodier and bloodier is honestly so chilling holy shit
Your stuff is so unique every time I swear! The paw swiping with that repetitive motion kinda made it scary haha! Loved that!
Bro this is SOOO GOOOOOD!!! You should definitely do something with the story after cursed lights. I don't think I'm the only one who would like to learn more about them!!!! Love the song choice as well
