Not sure if you seen them yet. But if you really like the teardrop, they have a 1” taller filter you can upgrade too. Looks like it’s the same size as the filter you guys showed. Think they are like 80$ and you can keep your teardrop. Comes with longer hardware. It does stick out little further than I’d like gets in the way of my leg when using rear brakes. But not as bad as the stock air filter that came on my ST.
Champions Cycles rules! amazed every time how straight forward and knowledgeable he is! you guys must come over to switzerland! best roads in europe! and way better to go down, matt. cause: no shady doctors either! talk to you soon!
@@IndestructibleMFG so tight dude. You love your paint job? I wanna do something fun like that too but nervous. What pushed you over the fence? looks freaking tight
“The reason we went with the bigger intake is because I’m making more money and I realized I can get these guys to keep buying and buying “ 😂 love the videos and bike turning out killer 🔥even though now it’s getting a little closer to be less reliable for those big trips The fxr division set up is perfect I was actually thinking about doing that gauge set up on my fxbb with my ld 13s
“People didn’t really talk about cams in the Harley world until the M8” 😂 tell me you just started riding Harleys without telling me you just started riding Harleys.
Been riding 10+ years, both owned multiple Harley’s. Sure cams have been around forever but the general topic of horse power, dyno tuning and building monster motors has exploded since the M8.
Exactly, the M8 needs a cam. We have a buddy with a dyna with upgraded cams. Obviously cams have been around a long time. What we mean is, now you get an M8 and putting in a cam is basically the same as upgrading the pipes. It’s almost a given. Before it was just what pipe are you getting now it’s what cam are you getting, that’s all we meant by the comment.
The tuner shop owner reminds me of Rick Hoffman 🤣 he looks like him & sounds like him 💯 makes me think of the tv series SUITS “louis Litt” 😆 y’all won’t be able to unsee this now 😭😁😆 your welcome 😆

Sound like your man there, surely knows what he's talking about, very much looking forward to seeing the finished project.
Should be on the dyno in a week or so!
The stock intake manifold is plastic. The upgraded harley 55mm is cast aluminum.
Think he was thinking we were asking about a different part
Hey guys.....like the Dan explains everything.. great info... looking forward to the dyno...👍👍
He knows his stuff that’s for sure !

Yeah was a silly comment. All my twin cams has upgraded cams. The M8s are a must for cam upgrade if you want that Harley sound.

.485 is the biggest you can go without springs
💯. Man dude said manifold is cast 🤦🏻♂️. Its definitely plastic
Think he’s just referring to the s&s/feuling cams cos that’s mostly all they use there
Yeah think he thought we meant a different part cos there’s already an upgraded SE manifold on it that’s cast
