In this video, we open a $400 2023-24 Panini Donruss NBA Hobby box!
This is the rookie year for Victor Wembanyama, Ausar Thompson, Amen Thomspon, Jaime Juaqez Jr, and many more great players. So, of course, we're hunting for some of their sick rookie pulls.
This product has some controversy behind it. There are certain athletes, such as Wembanyama, who do not have an agreement with Panini for autographing cards. Therefore, the Next Day autograph insert for some players simply shows "No Autograph" on the card. Many people have different feelings about this. All this controversy is driving more attention to the product and the cards. It's very interesting seeing the differing opinions and prices of these cards on the aftermarket. So we'd like to know what your thoughts are about the no auto Next Day autograph cards.
That being said, we had a blast opening this box. While you're only guaranteed 1 auto, we believe the true value lies in the 60 inserts you get per box. There's tons of fantastic, low numbered inserts you can pull. And with 60 inserts being guaranteed per box, your chances are pretty decent at pulling some good cards with good players. Of course, you're hoping for a sick auto, but all the inserts truly adds some great potential value.

Companies give these breakers the best boxes to promote their products. I got same box and got nothing worth selling in it
We aren't these "breakers" you're thinking of lol. Those breakers definitely do exist. But we're just two canadians with full time jobs that enjoy opening random boxes we get from local hobby shops and post the opening on youtube. Sometimes we get lucky, sometimes we get nothing. You can see terrible opens in our other videos. Panini has no interest in sending two Canadians with less than 1000 subscribers a loaded box 😂 they can get WAY more exposure from WAY bigger youtubers. Best of luck on your future pulls 🤞

Thank you! I plan on holding most of my Wemby pulls. I think he has amazing potential, and he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I dont foresee him getting into trouble like some other rookies have the past few years. His long-term value should be very strong. I'd be willing to part ways with his lower end base cards, but high ticket pulls like that, I think im gonna hold for a while.

I just pulled a rated rookies halo yellow laser wembanyama 06/25. Anyone got an idea what it's worth??
Holy smokes, congratulations on the insane pull! From what we've seen on ebay theres no sale for a yellow laser /25 yet. However, there has been a sale of a blue holo laser /49 for $1200 Canadian. So likely more than $1200.
