Feel like I gotta clear things up a bit. AEW got tier shifted to only Post-Yharon and he was NOT designed to be a hard boss. He exists as a way to obtain the Terminus. And the attack where you have to stand still, it's kinda of a knowledge trick. Most people who don't know eould just run around too much and die, but if you learn the fight then you'll know how to properly dodge. This has been a concept for some other bosses in the mod too.
Y'all remember when this thing used to be a lovable goofball who'd come home with you after killing you and just hang out because of a bug that prevented him from despawning? A lot changes, huh?
Not sure if someone pointed this out already, but FYI: This fight can be done without the abyssal diving suit, as the player is granted both infinite flight AND infinite oxygen That was among first things I tried when I saw that the breath indicator bubbles disappeared The other of course was to see if chaos state enraged AEW, and I was promptly dissected by a single hit, 650k contact damage :P
Bizarre how one of the two super bosses got so drastically different treatments. S.Calamitas was completely changed and improved while this guy is drastically easier than more than half of the mod's bosses
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial does this mean that halibut cannon got retiered? It was kinda underwhelming in endgame but it would really shine as a post yharon weapon
fun fact:the game subnaitca there are ghost levitan's that are very close to the aew (adult eidolon wyrm) and there are proof they live in the same areas ghost levitan-the void aew-the abyss
I hope infernum may one day return and fix this i tried this boss fight myself guess what i was so close and i raged quit Edit-i know this is final update but hey you could turn it into Return Revengeance
for some reason I cant see my own character and idk why it makes the fight feel luck based because I cant see myself idk if this is a bug or maybe its cuz I use retro lighting but if anyones knows the solution pls tell me
It's weird that the Adult Eidolon Wyrm is no longer a 'superboss' since "From the Ashes" update. The rumor said that the team was planning to put the 'superboss' classified for Noxus and Xeroc, gods of Calamity.
He wasn't supposed to be a boss since the beginning. It's just a dungeon guardian version of the abyss. Calling it "Superboss" was already a bad choice from base cal

So you are telling me that i fought one of the hardest boss fight in the etirety of terraria, with just Muramasa and basic equipment and won without even knowing that...the fargo equipable inventory mod is broken
Kind of disappointed that you can just stay still to avoid the telegraphed projectile attack, if one was shot straight down the middle it would make that attack a bit more entertaining
This feels… suspiciously easy for a Calamity Boss. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still shitting my pants if I see this, but compared to the absolutely ludicrous fights, this just seems… simple.

I honestly hope he gets buffed I haven’t got the chance to play the update but with everything else the wyrm just looks weak and does not look like the difficulty that’s was promised
