@@knotknight514 Some characters are efficient enough without meter, whereas others are more reliant on it or get more reward from using it. It can get more complicated than that but that's the simple way of putting it
@Jack_Horner_is_a_hero thanks Jack Horner, that makes sense. I'd like to learn more though. The only other team based fighters I have experience with is MvC so I'm trying to look for any synergy lol
@@knotknight514 Just focus on finding a set you're comfortable with. Play around with their basic combos and see how it feels: If you have some nice half to one and a half bar confirms, chances are that is a good point option. If you have some nice quick max confirm, or easy super into super combinations, maybe they're good deeper. I had been playing Shermie mid forever, but then I noticed basically all of my favourite confirms with her lead into one of her supers, and she combos those one into the other super easy, so she's been placed on anchor... But otherwise, you COULD try and make sure you have different characters so you could swap them around for matchups and whatnot... but honestly, that's secondary to getting comfortable with the one set, and even if it would be "not the ideal", realistically, every character can at least burn 3 bars to quick max level 1 into climax so you'll never be "stuck" in an order. And with composition itself, eh, I play all grapplers all the time and still have fun. As you get more familiar you'll naturally get a feel for what you're looking for in different members (spoken as someone who's been rotating at least one character a fair amount)
DoA is loathed by the FGC as despite it having a lot of depth and needing skill- to the FGC it's mocked as just a waifu game and they never give it a chance
what are you guys commentating on? Clark is literally in every Top 8, if not Shadow X on his own as he's solid- there's at least a second with him. Rarely seeing Clark.... You guys have been keeping up with the scene yeah? 🤣
