Chamkila is from my caste. We always believed he was killed because a lower caste was becoming the highest paid musician in punjab. People can say all they want bout his songs but there were many singers who sang such songs as well.

Diljit lived the character and Parineeti supported him really well. Imtiaz Ali's direction is top-notch and it's a great comeback by the director who is known for touching the hearts of his audiences with his storytelling and direction. This video is very nice. Keep it up!

The men in their suit-pants preach morality while resorting to vulgarity and vouyerism in their sheltered homes..The film highlights the utter hypocrisy of the human society, it studies the relationship between the art, artist and audience through the life of an eccentric persona, and it is enjoyable to say the least..
