I have owned the twin to this car for over a year now - mine is a 2013. Love the Dart and will not even hesitate to purchase another one when the need comes. Very nice/very comfordable and dependable and I usually get between 36 & 40 MPG w/mine. 6-speed manual or just manual transmission in general is one of the reasons I love it so much! Hopefully you made a deal and bought this one!
MarlinMR7 I totally agree these cars are so much better with a manual. I have driven the automatic ones too and they are not too bad but yea the manual Darts are so much better. Thanks for watching the vid.
+Edwin Vasquez I know its late response but yes it is very normal to hear the gears change i have had one for almost two years and ive been able to hear them from day one.
The car is excellent. Engine power is enough for the weight of the vehicle. Even the 2.0L engine has enough power. Maybe any issues refering to automatic transmission.
only problem I have with the 2013 SXT 2.0 is well.. I think they could have gone for a lower ratio in 6th lol. I mean 120(kms) an close to 3,500 rpm o_o. But that 2.0 sounds great for a N.A.
i totaled my 2015 kia forte stick shift omg that bitch was fucking fast this is the only car ik of that i can purchase thats a stick the dealers where im from said they are finna get rid of Manual cars because ppl dnt care to drive them so all in all do you think this is a good car

yes that clutch is like a spring back is not soft at all
nate mccoy I’m 14 about to turn 15 and yes i agree the clutch plus the low torque makes it Hard to drive
I'm new to driving a manual, is this car fairly easy for beginners?
Jenbug0421 probably the easiest one to start on, I started with it and learned in less than a day

It really is great to learn on, the clutch is soft yet forgiving

BMan100 Yea they are great cars and yea 6th gear is a little high on RPM's but I still love these cars.
Aaron Hazelton but it rides better than a ford fusion, handles better as well. Not to mention that 2.0 sounds sweet.
+BMan100 I do agree lower gear ratio would have been better might have helped fuel economy for highway but overall it is a good car
Yea I do agree with you 6th gear does need a lower ratio but other than that these are awesome cars and are peppy.
Aaron Hazelton ....those 4Cyls sound SOOOOOOOO good. then again the fuel economy is still pretty good. and the larger gas tank helps lol

Why are you swifting to 6 gear in such low speed ? Diving up to 40 miles per hour, 4th gear is enough. Don't swift to higher gear.
Bill Vekas way better gas mileage if you cruse in 6th
