As an current M4 owner I must admit the RS5 wins on the looks by miles and interior is on a different league! but the M4 sounds better the RS5 Muffler is muted I bet an Exhaust will make it sounds better
Looks are subjective, but I like M4 a lot more because it's more visually distinct from the lesser 4 series. RS5 still seems subdued. Interior is also hard to compare. Red extended is weaker than RS5, but optional full leather looks better on the M4 to me, especially in Silverstone and Opal.
I don't think its the color. Rather that the BMW looks quite boring. 1,2,3,4,5-Series all have the same front. I mean the look is stylish buts its getting a bit trite now.

Driver assist package on the rs5 takes away from the sportiness in the front with the two sensors in the grill. Looks so much better without them. I just ordered a nardo gray 2019 rs5 with the black optic carbon fiber package.

When I ordered my M, such options was never available in 2014. BMW held up on the tech features of the models and decided to "refine" them over the times to get more customers while Audi have a stable and predictable changes on the models. Owning a f80 2015 model from 2014 was fun, but talking with the dealership and seeing how they threw low quality materials on the first model was an injustice to its customers. I've never driven an Audi until now, quite different from BMW, especially with the AWD launch controls. But seems Audi produces the best qualities on their vehicles and even though it costs more it made me felt as if I am buying the exact product. How BMW produces their models are one of the main reason why all M models are depreciating so quick except the M2s. Now it's time for me to try the RS to find out the differences.

M4 is awesome..there is no competition with m4 ..its far better than rs5..high performance durable than rs5..and the look of M4..just a MONSTER GOD..aggressive ..powerful.. I LOVE THE CAR...after all the brand value of BMW is much higher then audi.. 😋
