Can't win em all lads, this is entirely how my 2024 has been, silverless and plagued by bad weather! I'm guessin this was last Sunday with all that wind and weather. I opted to go hiking instead of detecting. Back out this weekend though. Keep it up

hi Rob,i see you are wet and windy up there again ..the weather did not look to good either ,,,but at least you have had your fix and that should last you for a week ?,,we have just had our first couple of rain free days for a long time,,,, a few days ago i thought the bloody roof was gonna come off the garage its been a good few years since i have had to wait this long to get out detecting,,i think it is twice i have got out so far this year,,,so well done for getting out in that lot and at least you had a couple of nice finds with that buckle and spindle whorl,,,good luck on the next and take care both,,,Pat
Hi Pat , thanks mate and yes once again the good old Yorkshire weather rears it's ugly head it seems as though just lately every time we go out the weather is crap ! which does take some of the fun out of it you just sit in the car having a coffee and think i suppose i had better get out ! , it's just a good job i found something half way decent otherwise i would not have been a happy bunny , but so far they have forecast a decent weekend ( heard that one before !! ) so fingers crossed , anyway i hope you get out soon and make a video pal best wishes and ATB Rob .
