Just used your video to swap over a safety on a Browning Gold Hunter, exactly the same everything. So you can add that gun to your title as well!! really appreciate your having done this video, thanks.
I will add that 1. They do not make a left handed A5 2. We have 2 members in our duck blind that are left handed firers. The A 5 ejects the spent casings out and away from you and they do not hit you in the face.
I shoot left handed and I shoot a Browning A5.....the shells do not hit you in the face. The reason to switch the safety is when you are firing the gun, your hand will hit the safety switch and knock the safety back on. It has happened to me dove and duck hunting.
I’ve been shooting A5s for 45 years. The shells don’t hit you in the face, they don’t distract your aim, and you don’t even see a flicker of an ejection out of the corner of your eye.
I will answer my own question. The hammer has to be fwd otherwise there is a spring in the way and the safety cannot be removed....so pull the trigger and ride the hammer fwd....now the safety will fall out.

Does the bolt have to be removed to swap the safety or can you just remove the trigger assembly?
+Sam Costanzo No. It isn't necessary since everything involved is external. I field stripped the gun for ease of movement but it isn't necessary.
What is the point in doing this if the chamber is going to be ejecting shells in your face?? Might as well buy a left handed A5

Should you pull the trigger with gun assembled before you attempt this ?
I will answer my own question. The hammer has to be fwd otherwise there is a spring in the way and the safety cannot be removed....so pull the trigger and ride the hammer fwd....now the safety will fall out.

Hola, no estoy seguro si entiendo el problema. ¿Su A5 dispara los primeros 2 proyectiles y luego el tercero no se carga?
