The fireworks and flames were AWESOME IN PERSON!!!! You could actually feel the heat of the flames every time they shot up...literally could “feel the flames on my skin”. It was INCREDIBLE!!!! Love your reactions btw! :)
Same! I was very very far from stage and still we could feel the heat so strong every time 😻 it really makes you feel part of the show "I can't feel the flames on my skin"
Also for it being a stadium tour she made it feel so intimate. How she does it I don’t know. But it felt like she was putting the show just for you. It goes by so fast and just such an amazing experience. If you have the means to see her concert multiple times do it. Cause I can promise you once is not enough.
Person Person lol I’ve only been to 1989 and Rep each once and I wish I had the means to go multiple times as well. I was just saying like from my experience going once was amazing and I had the time of my life but if I could I’d go as many times as I could. She puts the best performance and definitely set the bar high when it comes to concerts. She puts her all in every show and you can see it. Ugh I love her so much.
Honestly, that's how i recognize people who are genuinely born for their craft. Like, there are people who are undeniably talented and/or skilled, but there are people who are literally born for their craft and you'd _know_ the difference. It's honestly amazing how she can make an entire stadium feel like an intimate setting.
"Sensory overload" is an understatement. I could feel her energy. I could feel the bleachers below me shaking. I could feel the fire on my face. All of this while i was screaming and dancing. I miss it. Also my suggestion to you is to react to lover when it comes out and if you love it you should definetly go to tour it's beyond worth it.
Soooo true!!! that fire was HOT and she never lets the audience be bored without at least a few things to watch at any given moment. Not even between songs. She's a real force to be reckoned with
Especially when things get compicated, like lawyers comparing options for an artists master recordings; or just the old he said she said _ so great to have Lauren do all the hard research and clear explanation.
The thing I love most about this performance is at the beginning of the "light me up" segment where Taylor is reaching out for people and they run from her and she looks at her hands like she's questioning if there's something wrong with her and then all of a sudden she's being burned at the stake. Its just such a beautiful, tragic way of expressing the feeling behind the song. Also the flames and fireworks were freaking incredible in person. The first tour I went to was 1989 and I just feel like with every tour she gets even better because Reputation blew my mind.
It’s amazing in person when she sings I can feel the flames on my skin you literally feel the flames on your skin from the fireworks and flames during that part. She is incredible. Omg I love her so much. You definitely have to go to her next tour. Trust me. Its so unbelievably beautiful and amazing.
when I went to the rep tour screaming "If a man talks shit then I owe him nothing" was the greatest feelings ever well just screaming the lyrics to that song in general felt soooo good considering what I had been going through prior to seeing taylor
She makes the stadium feel like a gig with 100 fans. But yeah she alway credits people. The tour was insane. Live it is amazing. You should 100% go see Taylor live it’s an experience
I actually found / subscribed because you’re reacting to taylor so you got nothing to fear from me. I love watching people react and honestly, do what makes you happy. You do you. We got you.
And Taylor so LOVES performing! Her GQ interviewer commented to her dad on the fun being had by the 1989 Chicago audience. Her Dad said "yeah but who is having the most fun? Taylor is!"
This is my favorite tour….it was awesome! She performed for 3 hours straight and everyone got a bracelet that has lights that were programmed to the music. 🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️👍🏼❤️
This was literally the best live performance I’ve ever seen. People can hate on her vocals all they want, she is such a talented singer and performer and she puts everything she has into every show. Loving these reactions! Please never stop the Taylor content 😂
the way she did the segment with the "burning all the witches" is so good because of the perfect dance metaphor of everyone attacking her and not wanting to be near her while she's just standing there trying to find someone to help her and being heartbroken and sad and alone and innocent and feeling like a "witch" in the Salem witch trials it's just so perfectly done and it breaks my heart because I know that thats how she actually felt because of the 2016 drama
I'm so here for you doing all of taylor music. Literally, if you decide to listen to her entire discography i'll support you. I'd recomend going from rep back to her self titled taylor swift. I think you'll love her because she has always had the great lyrics and the attitude you seem to enjoy. Btw love your channel and how you are so respecfull and positive about everything you react.
2:38 it’s wild that she now does this for 3 hours multiple days in a row for Era Tour! She reportedly practiced the whole set while running or jogging on a treadmill which helped build physical and vocal stamina.
The amount of times you've said "her voice is so great here" is even more noteworthy when you realize she had a cold during this performance/tour date! A really cool bit from the tour that you don't really see in the movie are the wristbands. They changed to different colors depending on the songs. I think during LWYMD, it seemed like snakes were slithering through the crowd! I have such a cool video from that moment!!
Haha I love all the Taylor content, keep it up! I am a broke college student so I can only support you by subscribing and watching all your channels but people would love to see your final review on the special once you watch it as a whole. I don't mind it broken up b/c I do love the longer reviews!
I think you are doing it the right way in that youre doing one at a time and really being able to talk in depth about how you feel about each performance and song. The drawback is as you say, sometimes things are cut or it ends like this video did. Really getting into it then boom ends so abruptly. You did say you are going to watch it 100% through on netflix afterward which I think is a great idea. Just sit back and put it on and be taken to a place without worrying about taping and such. Also Ive enjoyed watching you turn into a Swiftie and I appreciate you showing an audience that might not normally know Taylors music or performances what she brings, sometimes people just hear one of two tracks and think thats what an artist is....I think an artist comes through on their albums and performances more than their "radio" hits
I went to the concert an I totally missed a lot especially the stage choreography. That’s why I’m so happy the Netflix special came out because I was able to see all those really cool moments I missed since I was on the top rows and relied only on the screens (who are just on her face)
They said she can't sing! But why's she sounds so good Most fun I ever had And I'd listen to it over and over again if I could She sounds so..good...good!!
I have seen all of her concerts since Fearless. What you can’t see yet is towards the back she has a second and third stage which she gets too. Her shows are INSANE.
This was an all stadium tour, so all the fireworks are outside. But the fireworks and pyro were so crazy intense, I was in center pit and the heat from them was insane. She always pulls out all the stops
Can we take a moment to appreciate the production quality, the pyrotechnics, the choreography, the instrumentation and definitely the vocals. This performance is just everything. This tour must have costed a lot to put together, Taylor really gives her time and money to give us the best experience.
Kurt Bryan not at all, it’s supposedly about her relationship with calvin harris, she also had a thing with tom hiddleston after calvin & her split that’s why it’s called « i did something bad ». They are also some kim & kanye references.
You were spot on when you said it's easy to miss things when you're there experiencing it live. I didn't notice until the Netflix doc came out that the dancers were running from her during the witch burning. Probably the way it felt to her when everyone was turning her away when she was going through the whole thing in 2016. It made me sad to realize that.
Yessss!! Got so exited for another Taylor reaction!! Wow shoutout to all the dancers on stage they had to much energy damn!! Yea that’s the down side of watching Reputation tour on UA-cam because they cut out things! But her other tours are on UA-cam the full versions if you ever wanted to check them out also.
Trust me those fireworks and flames were everything! I went to her show last year and I had floor seats in the back and those flames you can feel the heat from the very back!! It was so intense and awesome! Also it wasnt an arena tour it was a stadium so the fireworks and flames weren't an issue :)
Thank you so much for doing these!! I can’t wait till you get to see all of the performances she did on this tour. Especially the more intimate songs when it’s just her and a guitar. I can’t thank you enough for really appreciating her songwriting and performances and truly seeing how much work is put into everything she does.
I COMPLETELY agree with you. She sounds SO good live for this tour. I wish they would release a live reputation tour cd where you can listen to her perform these songs live all the time. They are 100% better than the studio album.
Also, I completely agree with you when you say that the aggression and emotion you feel conveyed at a lot of hardcore, pop-punk, punk shows is very close to the emotion Taylor puts off. Maybe that’s why I love all these bands and Taylor. It’s that deep emotion you feel and gets you hooked.
Omg you DID miss some major things during the last 5 seconds!! Also notice how in her bridge her attitude shifted from bad assery to being helpless and alone then again to bad assery *shivers*
I love watching all your rep tour videos, especially this one cause this was one of my FAVORITE parts of the tour- all the pyro was perfectly synced and so cool to see in person!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 One thing that kills me every single time are those thousands lights at the hands of the audience which are going on and off just in tact of the song That’s so wooooooowwww 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love the idea of doing separate videos to react and then review! Especially bc opinions always change a little over time (or get more defined at least)
Sometimes when I watch her tour concerts I get confused if I am watching a concert or a Broadway show. Her performances are Broadway quality in my opinion.
I just wish you reacted the reputation intro before ready for it 😔 and the ones before look what you made me do and getaway car cause they are epic af😭
The entire concert for Reputation took place in outdoor stadiums, the fireworks were big, beautiful, and booming all around her stage. It was hands down, thee BEST concert ever and worth every penny. She’s a phenomenal singer, songwriter, humanitarian, and amazing woman. I love seeing reactions from people like you that she wasn’t in their favorite genres, and seeing you all come alive with the shocked reactions & new found Swiftiehood we’ve known for years. 🥰👏🙌
One of the things I said after I attended one them was that the reputation tour is not concerts of Taylor Swift it's more a whole show. There was part of the show when Taylor wasn't even on stage (bc she was changing outfits or whatever), and we were so entertained by the whole performance of the background singers, the band, the dancer... That we didn't even noticed that Taylor wasn't there until she came out again. The show is made in a way you nevee get bored of waiting or nothing. I loved it. When it ended I was so sad I went to the second and last night they were on the town, bc if I had known, I would have bought tickets for both
1 day grab popcorn, snacks and watch the entire concert :p I know it's 2 hours but it goes by fast and the whole time your not bored and that's the closest feeling you will get to being there experiencing the rep tour. X
The fans wore light up/LED bracelets during the show and the lights on it changes depending on the show she played. In Look What You Made Me Do, the LED bracelets formed giant crawling snakes. Delicate has the light waves, King Of My Heart has crowns, and more! The fans on the VIP/floor areas could see all of it as well as the fans at the top decks.
I love your reactions so much!!! I have been watching every day for the 1989 reaction. Red is probably my favour album though so please keep going! Thank you so much 😊
7:40 Ok new subscriber here!! Your cats make appearances in the background, you’re a Swiftie, and, I’m assuming, you’re straightedge! ✖️✖️ My husband is coming on 25 years being straightedge.🤘🏻🇨🇦
Aw that's sad! The video clip suddenly stopped before the performance ends up. You missed the best part. 😢😢 tho, good reaction and putting your insights about her tour. I'm sure if Taylor seeing this right now, she'll love watching your reactions 😉
I was at that show and it was amazing to watch it back on Netflix because you do miss SO much because there is so much going on at any given moment. She really puts her heart and soul into her tours and it shows!
Over the past 5 years I must've gone to over a 100 gigs, lots of punk bands and they're always amazing, but T Swift concerts are the best every time hands down. I've been to every tour since the Fearless tour when I was like 15, and people always thought it was weird that I was such a huge Swiftie when I had such a completely different taste in music, but she's such a genuine artist who I was lucky enough to grow up with and watch grow into the most badass artist over the past decade. It's upsetting that so many people don't bother to dive into her albums past the singles because she is truly talented and an amazing human being despite the way the media has portrayed her for a long time. I love these reactions so much please keep them coming!

My favourite from the 1989 tour along with the wildest dreams/enchanted mashup

Yes! Please put the full Reputation Tour on patreon and film it at night with a snack and enjoy yourself. It's TWO hours long.
this is probably the most popular 'non single' off the album. i hear it more than any other song.

There's literally not a bad Taylor Swift song... The non-singles are even better... Great reaction again☺...

No worries Steven, we’ll be here no matter how you decide to react to it ❤️🌹
You should react to Taylor Swift Dear John live from the Speak Now Tour! You'll love the fireworks
