Fun fact. If you know who Bob Kingsley is, he lived on Old Dennis for many many years before he passed away in 2019. Also, that horse and his friends stand in that spot ever single day. Lol!
My Grandparents, aunt and uncle lived in Dennis and BOTH operated big 'ol general stores. To me, Dennis was heaven. Soooo many happy memories. I haven't seen it in years but am yearning to go back.
Glad to hear it. Ive always been a fan of driving videos. Heck, I originally started my channel in 2013 as a driving video channel but then stopped for whatever reason. One thing that always bothered me are people who do driving videos and cannot hold a camera steady or find a steady mount for it. This road was really bumpy so I had no choice but to hold my camera to make it as smooth a ride as possible. I cant stand watching shaky driving videos. So thank you for the positive input!
And when we were in Texas, almost every single day looked like this. This wax back in May. We were there for 3 weeks. I think it rained 2 or 3 days that entire time.
So glad to hear that! So next time we are back, I can actually enjoy driving that road without having Vietnam flashbacks of Pennsylvania and Ohio roads come Frebruary every year. LOL
I don’t mean this in a bad way, but last night I had trouble sleepIng , a lot of those nights these day😔 but any way decided to catch up with you videos, started to watch this and it was so relaxing, next thing I know my alarm is going off🤷♀️ so thanks for that👍
Its so beautiful. Especially in the rural areas. Even around the cities that I've obviously been to being Fort Worth and Dallas, its still nice. Obviously the cities are a sharp contrast to the countryside and rural areas. But it is so beautiful and wide open for the most part.
We have other things in Weatherford besides scenic country Roads. The late Mary Martin Broadway and screen actress and also the mother of actor Larry Hagman of Dallas fame. Also you will find in the Curtis Cemetery the grave of Alfonso Freeman a veteran of the Mexican American War and Indian fighter and also was involved in the Construction of the original Fort Worth.
A great video! It's really gorgeous down in Texas! There's one other thing that I like about Texas-- Texas Rangers. I'd like to see every state have a law enforcement agency like the Texas Rangers. If I should be fortunate enough to take a vacation down in Texas, I'd hope to get to meet any Texas Rangers and tell them ' Thanks for your great work that you do for the fine residents of Texas'.
Well, I've been back in Pittsburgh for months. Keep in mind all of our Texas videos are from May. We filmed that many. Lol Anyway, I would always much rather live in Texas especially when the weather turns to crap here and the roads become craters. Lol
WallieB26 I hear ya , my family and many relatives were from Pennsylvania dating back to the twenties . Now all that’s left there is one of my aunts and two cousins all have either moved or passed away but it is a beautiful state as I’ve always said . Thanks for the reply Wallie 👍 lol
Actually I did! Yes, majority of the population drives trucks down there but closer to the city, you see more cars. I have to say, the Cavaliers I saw down there are some of the cleanest in existence at this point. Unlike up here, the quarters and rockers aren't all eaten to shit by rust. LOL
Currently sitting at 149,230. Still runs, drives, and performs as if it is brand new. You would not be able to tell its 21 years old! Original clutch too! (Its a 5-speed manual)

God. What I wouldn't do to be on that road right now!!! Beautiful and peaceful!!!
You and me both.

Your driving videos are some of the few I can watch without my eyes going buggy.

That looks like a really pretty drive, I need to get back to Texas
It sure is! Outside the vicinity of the big cities, plenty of roads are scenic like this. I love it.
@@WallieB26 Yes, indeed! We only have one big city, Albuquerque. The rest of New Mexico is full of scenic drives😊
I take this road pretty much every Sunday to get to church and I occasionally take it home from work imo one of the best driving roads ever
Thank you for showing Texas
Beautiful scenic road video. It is nice just to get out on the open back roads and take in the view.
Thanks for the ride, I enjoyed it.
Perfect day for a drive.
It sure was!
And when we were in Texas, almost every single day looked like this. This wax back in May. We were there for 3 weeks. I think it rained 2 or 3 days that entire time.
You should be glad that road has been fixed since y’all left. It’s not quite as bumpy now.
So glad to hear that! So next time we are back, I can actually enjoy driving that road without having Vietnam flashbacks of Pennsylvania and Ohio roads come Frebruary every year. LOL
What a great day for a car ride wow what a nice 9 mile drive on that old road this is awesome thanks for sharing Wallie.. :D
love those kind of roads you drive and enjoy the view thank you for sharing.
I can’t wait to see your Christmas - holiday season ( trip in Texas ) and other idea plans during the Christmas “ holiday “ season @WallieB26 🎄🎄🎄
Take Me Home, Old Dennis Road, Take Me Home!!!

Reminds me of the midwest which j miss. Thank you for sharing Wallie and Kayla! I've seen buffalo for my first time when I lived in North Iowa.
I love quick trip !! I went to one in NC!! So good I wish we had them in VA
Cool looking road
Reminds me of my old channel called Mark's Journey. Did many long form videos like this. Not doing it anymore. Cool video!
A note on the buffalo. One of the connecting roads had a white buffalo. Put him up on my Facebook page. He was awesome.
What a neat find! I'll have to look for that photo!
Awesome video 👌👌
Thank you!
Hello From Ohio, love your channel.
Wallie have you even took 51 down to Granbury? Very scenic drive out of Weatherford.
I love that road so much!
But QuickTrip isn’t as “grand” as Buccee’s! But if I didn’t know this road was in Texas, I would think it was somewhere in Western Pennsylvania!
Nice country road

Driven that road many times
I love it! Nice little 10 minute ride from Kayla's parents to Quik Trip.

Its not far from my house. I am in south eastern Weatherford. I have only been on that road once in the 6 years I have lived here
See any other Cavaliers down there? Seems like people truly do only drive trucks!
