What's the length of the dowels after you cut them?

Would spray paint work? It turned out beautifully by the way!
Thank you! I had someone remake and they used spraypaint but it took over a day to dry. So if you have the time yes, but I’d prefer the hand painting and using a blow dryer for time sake

What size was the dowel after you cut it? Was it cut halfway in the middle for the side pieces?
I’m actually not sure, I didn’t really measure. But I wouldn’t cut them because as you can see the clothes came pretty close to the basket. If I left it as is, they’d be higher and I could’ve fit more in the basket
where are the hangers from?
I got them from Burlington, but I also seen them at home goods😊
