I've watched a LOT of desk makeover videos for inspiration as I work on putting together my home office space and this is by far my favorite that I've found! The cozy, welcoming style feels both homey and productive and I really appreciate you redoing the space when you realized that there were practical ways to make the space work better for you. This is such a good desk setup. I just got a new job working fully remote and I’m definitely gonna borrow some of your idea to help keep my set up cozy!
If you get a wax candle you can rub it over that word you want to copy then flip the paper and scratch the back and the word will transfer over because of the wax. I did this as a child with comics from the newspaper.
