Hi Mike. You can make it easier to evolve your Pokemon by clicking on the search button (magnifying glass in top right corner where your Pokemon are) and typing 'evolve'. All the Pokemon that you can evolve will be displayed
The Pokémon Might not be evolving because your clicking the x to leave the menu, not the evolve button. A way to fix this could be scrolling down a bit. Also Magnaton evolves using 100 candies and with a steel lure up (you can get them in shop and you put the lure on a poke stop) Hope I could help a bit!
Love this video it was very relaxing!! To evolve the Misdreavus you need a "Sinnoh Stone" Can get those from trainer battles. Click on the lower right where it may show nearby pokemon...in that tab it has 3 tabs Battle Pokemon and Raid select the Battle and you can get those stones and badges etc from battling the 3 trainers or you can battle your friends too. Sometimes it gives stones then too. It doesn't always give a sinnoh stone so may have to try multiple times.
