Just watched this after doing LL50 for the first time, what an event, so good I definitely want to do it again. One tip is to have a cheese toastie at Tilberthwaite 😂. You are a legend of legends 💪.
@@Gillibrand65 so I’ve never run with poles and have always said I would never use them - my own clumsiness being the main reason! But after this year I am considering them. Especially for the 100. I bought my husband a Fenix HM65R-DT for his birthday and now I’d like one for myself! Super light but long lasting and can take a second battery.
Well done Emily!!!
Doing my first Lakeland 50 this year- thanks: this is super helpful advice!
Good luck dude!
Hope your race went well!

Thanks Emily, night running is a big worry for me, time to dig out my head torch in the summer i guess
Definitely as much practice as poss running at night - especially on trail when you feel confident
Awesome viddy!
Great tips thanks running it next year first 50 so might as well be the hardest 🤣
It was my first 50 too I think it’s a great one to start with! Plenty of time and a beautiful place to run. See you next year!
Two questions Emily…first, poles or no poles? Second, what head torch do you recommend?
