Trying to get into carving masks. Is the wood glued together to get the thickness.
Since large blocks of wood are hard to come by, some people stick boards together to carve them.Give it a try!👍

Is the mask comfortable to wear? Does the wood push into the face or hurt to wear? It looks beautiful!
The back of the wooden mask is smooth, so it doesn't hurt when you wear it.

はい、何度も塗り替えや修復しました
面の色は水性ですからお湯をかけながらブラシで擦るとまた木の状態に戻せます。

My favorite wood is paulownia, the lightest.However, cypress is sometimes used to increase the value of the art.
