I could be wrong, but i believe this should also work with the "on action skill end, gain 50% (element) damage" annoint that you can get on the shield and a grenade, as long as they're all different elements

Ok so two updates... 1) you actually get a silver trophy for smashing the invisible stacks! 2) just found out how depressingly fast you burn through this stuff trying to get specific anoints. Better find myself a good audiobook cause Im gonna end up needing enough eridium to buy a turd farm.
I’m not sure if the following will work, but I think the following setup could maximize the potential eridium drops: Guardian angel with URAD anoint Front loader with ASE (fire, cryo, corrosion) Any grenade with an ASE element not being used by the above 2 And finally a stone relifact with the final missing element Theoretically should give a melee attack all the elements (especially if using Zane to trigger ASE to keep the 10 second timer up)

Because for every 1 person like us who will look at Reddit and Google there are 10 that just want to watch a video and know what just happend.

As long as it's an artifact that says imbue melee with (insert element) it will work just fine. Just don't double up an element like rad. Happy holidays!

I just returned to BL3 after leaving from launch. Am I dumb but why do you need the legendary gear to hit the Eridium stones? Does higher damage make the stone spit out more Eridium?
It needs both, anything but Radiation or Shock. The whole strategy is to stack as many elements onto your melee as you can which will increase the eridium gain for each.
@michaelhun9775 in Mayhem Mode, it is one of the modifiers you can select. It grants 10% chance of a bunch of loot being dropped upon kill, and a critical hit kill 100% guarantees a bunch of loot. The higher the Meyhem level, the more loot dropped.
If you were like me and played alot of world of warcraft where item level was kinda important just throw that out the window. Bl3 item levels mean basically nothing. Just make sure your on the right mayhem level and check loot lemon for its drop chance. If your getting into God roll drop chance we'll thats math and I don't know it lol.

So by adding different elements to your melee attack it counts as another hit for each different element you have. So it's almost like your hitting the node 5 times instead of once.
Slaughter shaft is better Isn’t it. Play 4 rounds and just farm the mini boss for 500e every kill? Kill the boss and down yourself then restart the round.
So I would say no I tested this and you have to take into account the time to get to the last boss also instead of just jumping in and going after swapping a few items. But even removing that as a factor it takes me 45seconds on a 13700k and 4070 so including loading screens to make 600 eridium. Edit: if you notice in the beginning I said while fucking off watching a podcast but if you pound it out head to head this method would beat that one every time.

Took me foever to farm the relic but got super lucky and a gun with the rad annoitment dropped from one off the skags .

So do you need the planetoid? If you had a cryo stone and the urad annoit with the front loader is that not the same? Or does melee damage matter

How are you changing mayhem levels without a reload of the area?
It does reload just cut it out in editing, its the fact that its only 1 loading screen instead of 2 that makes it faster

What is the ideology behind the increased eridium drops? More radiation/overall elemental Meleee damage produces more eridium?
The more different types of elements you can stack on each melee swing the more you get per hit. The DLC video I make soon will be even more per hit.
It adds more hits to your melee so it procs the rock cracking multiple tomes
Does the planetoid have to be the one that imbues yours melee like that one specifically??

M10 says +200% M9 is +180%
M11 says it’s +100%
The M11 tooltip is wrong m11 and 10 have the exact same rewards.

Apparently each element type counts as it's own hit, which somehow spits out more eridium per hit

Mysterious Amulet from Ava dlc spawns more eridium clusters. Also more eridium per break

Funny. This is dooable, but those annointments for any weapons are rare, so it will take a lot of farming to get them. But it does work.

I do not believe lootsplosion helps with dedicated drops how ever it is a world drop so... maybe?

Yeah the front loader is just there to keep your hp low enough to make urad anointment work constantly.

Yah well the first shield took me about 20 tries, nice thing is he always drops and many were annointed trevonators.
I’ve got about 250,000 just from playing the game and not using them much.
That'll change if you want to go into end game farming. Your Eridium goes fast re-rolling gear anointments for your builds.
