Team Jelly Strikes it big time in the bait department.. Thanks for the up date bud. Great looking steaks, could almost taste them.. perfectly paired with the potatoes and slaw. Kel got it right.. people suck especially when it's down by the ocean.. Enjoy the rest of your time there.. Cheers guys and thanks..
Haha yeah mate "jed the lord of the bait" I'll be known as 😄! Cooked slow over char is the ultimate I reckon. Cheers mate, yeah starting to warm up here, time to gead south soon!!
Another awesome episode Team Jelly. How would the Barracuda loins go down in the smoker. I catch snook which is a similar fish in SA ,you've probably seen them in SW WA (meaty and oily flesh) it comes up treat in the smoker. Your fire pit looks the goods . what make is it please .. i think I'm going to buy one for the bride for Christmas. Great effort on the Gold Spot rock Cod. Happy Travels
Hey cheers Simo!! Yeah mate I have caught a couple of big barracuda also and some crew say they not bad chewin up ere but maybe smoker worthy?! Firepit is a Ozwit Quokka 2 in the medium size mate. Unreal bit of kit! Kinda pricey but so so worth the money. Easy to setup, light and durable 👍👍
Great work mate. Not sure but was that a snook you let go. If so i do think snook are fantastic on the smoker. One of my favourite. Well done both of you. Another great vid. 👍🏻
Hey mate! Yeah was definitely a lil barracuda but I've since been told that the ones up here aren't too bad on the smoker also?? Dunno. If I catch a snook next time though I'll throw it on the smoker for sure and giver a try, cheers mate 👍!
Hey there mate! Land based or you have a tinny? If you end up getting a tinny your options open up so much more but 4 and 6 mile creeks are a great starting point on high or rising tides for land based mate. Especially with the wet season coming into swing 👌👌
Love your vlogs old mate
Cheers Pete, much appreciated mate👍
Top vid you two, try the town beach in front of council office for whiskery salmon at high tide.
Sweet as mate! If I get a day off I'll giver a crack 👍👍
Awesome mate, don't forget to do a catch and cook with that smoker 🤙
Most definitely will have to mate! I did actually use it and smoked up that Trevally, totally forgot to film any of it but 🤦🤦
