As long as you have a thick enough lug to drill a hole it would probably work. The pre drilled holes you screw into are only probably 1/16 of an inch. A lot of tracks tapper down pretty thin though. Hope that helps you out!??
after a couple seasons how have you liked these? have you lost any? tunnel ok? and how well does this work on the glare ice, are you still sliding the back end going from snow to ice often? thanks!
Oddly, just changed the track two days ago. Studs did everything I wanted of them. They all stayed in and added some traction on ice (not as much as traditional studs) but provided some control. Tunnel has been good. Changed my track because it had a tear at the edge nothing related to the studs. I would do it again if I had a 1.6 cobra with predrilled holes. Hope this helps.
I put them in the pre-determined pattern. The 1.6 Cobra has holes in the lugs already so I put one in each hole. It has two studs/holes on each row of lugs. Hope that helps.
We're they to thick if I wanted to drill my own holes so u could have 4 acrood

@@twistingiron7285 would your track be thick enough
@@jimmystockweather8516 I don't think I would add any extra on this 1.6 Cobra.
Did you have to install tunnel protection
I didn't, everything seems good after one year.
I’m doing the same thing to my assault, what about tunnel protectors?
I didn't bother because they aren't like traditional studs. Not much sticking out there. Hasn't been an issue.

Did you have any pull out ?
Not that I have found no.
What's the part# of the package you went with? Thanks!!
Hey, if you pause at 1:52 in you can see the #. It starts with ST. Hope that helps.
Did you have to use tunnel protector? Would like to do this to my Indy XC its got the 1.35 cobra.
I didn't. These are less aggressive than traditional studs, with only about a 16th to an 8th inch above the lug. I think it should be ok.
Twisting Iron figured that, I just looked my track doesn’t have the pre drilled holes ☹️
That's too bad. I would have thought that it would.
Did you put them on every lug? Or in a pattern.?

How did they hold up for yeah ? Any come out though out the riding year ?
They all stayed in fine. I did lose a lug which I talk about and you can see in my year end review video.
Ride er to school some day
Not a fan of ridding roads Pete.
