3+ years using this monitor and no issues whatsoever. 90% outside mounted on a Fuji X-T3. Brigtness enough in summertime (north of spain) maybe this is why it work for me.
Update,
Today, the monitor die...For whatever reason in the middle of a shoot, it simple die. Buy cheap buy twice...
Hi, Rich, I have the same monitor and use it without a problem in sunlight. It looks like you might not have turned up the screen backlight? I have my one set to plus 3. If you don't adjust the screen backlight the screen out of the box is fine indoors but poor in sunlight.
Thank you for the suggestion. I no longer have this monitor, as I now use an Atomos ninja V plus. But when I did use it, I’m pretty sure I raised the brightness, but I really didn’t find it bright enough. I used it to shoot a music video and had a very hard time seeing what I was doing, it was a very hot sunny day, but it made me want something. Much brighter. Just my experience. Thanks for watching.
Wait you went from a $140 something monitor to a $700 plus solution? You said the screen was too reflective yet you did not show us what the screen looked like without the screen protector from the manufacture? I have one of these and it works fine. I also seen you have some trouble clicking on the icons. Once that protective film from the factory is removed it is brighter, and functions fine for a touch screen. I have done company portraits and out door events, never one issue. Works great for me. Good luck.
Wish I could return mine. Touch screen hasn't worked at all since I brought it May smh
Thunbs down twice 😂 enjoyed your review of the monitor
You didn't have to review this product; you are just trying to destroy somebody's business. I own and use the monitor (in sunny Nigerian weather), and it's never given me a problem. Talking about screen brightness, 500nits is good enough-and consumes little battery power, as opposed to something like 1000nits, 1600nits, 2200nits. All monitors-like just about all products in the world-aren't built equal, and the FeelWorld F6 Plus [V2] is the best in its category.
